Garage Daniel Bois Autopro

Had vehicle towed to this location for possible engine repair. The owner started it up and shut it off. Left the vehicle outside. That was all that was done. Basically 1 minute spent on vehicle. This was according to the tow truck driver. I decided not to have the vehicle repaired there because of the high cost of labor ($65/hour) and after hearing stories of very expensive repairs done at this location. So when I called the owner to tell him I would be picking the vehicle up to do the repair at another location I was told to bring $65 plus tax or $65 in cash to cover one hour of labor. I was told he had spent time “diagnosing”. This was false and consisted of listening to the engine run for seconds at the most and deciding it was probably a broken connecting rod. I have heard this location is good at what they do, but to expect to pay twice as much as it should cost. Buyer beware.

Westfalia camper on a long trip to NS from ON. Bit of noise in rear. They listened carefully. Diagnosed some loose engine mount bolts. On the road again!! Friendly and reasonable. He has a Westy too btw.

Halfway through our trip to Montreal, we heard some weird engine noises. Hotel reccomended we go here. They saw us immediately and had us fixed up and back on the road in no time for a reasonable price. Very friendly as well.

Francis saves us today, truly. My wife and I are traveling in our RV. Today suddenly it wouldn't start and we figured out it was the starter. After calling about 10 different repair shops between Edmundston and Fredericton we were just about ready to give up. The best anyone could offer us was 2 weeks before the starter would be replace. Then we called Daniel Bois autocross and Francis said he had the starter and he would drop everything and install it for us right away. Honestly we were completely stranded. We managed to start the RV one more time and drove over. 2 hours later we were back on the road. Thank you so so much.

Got stuck with a flat on our way home to Ontario after Easter Weekend. We were lucky to pull into Daniel Bois before our tire lost all the air. Had tire damage on a trip through Quebec. Called them at closing time, they apologized could not fix then, but booked me in first thing next morning. Excellent work, kept me well informed throughout process and had us back on the road in a few hours, with a reasonably low cost. Best automotive service I have had in a long time. Very highly recommended. Service available in both French and English

On our way from Moncton to Ottawa one of my tires was about to blow out. Called and they told us to come in. I couldn't have wished for better service. They got someone to pick up tires from another garage because they didnt have my size. I'm so thankful for them and would recommend them to anyone needing work in the area. Thanks again!!!
