Found more than what I was looking for but cashier needs to be more aware of her surroundings and call for help when needed

Well, it's Dollarama. In some countries called Dollarcity. You know what to expect, cheap prices and ocassionaly a good quality product. Very good store, tho.

This place is a good place to shop right prices other store are not to good for a person that is retired you can save yourself money for a dinner out

Poor customer service at this dollarama through consecutive visits. I find the staff regularly maintain a mildly rude attitude, not all, but enough that it leaves a bad taste after leaving. I seldom see extra effort put in to make things right for the customer here. In one instance, my wife was buying plant pots here and the pots rang in above the marked price, according to the cashier he couldn’t correct the price to what was marked. Anyone who’s worked a cash knows you can key in the price accordingly, search up the product code, or take other actions to ensure the price rung in is correct. In other grocery stores if the item rings in wrong, it’s even at times free. The least that could be done is ring in the item at the price marked. It would be one thing if this were just incompetence or ignorance but the demeanour from the cashier by which the whole exchange was handled is frustrating. Like I said, multiple visits we’ve seen and been on the receiving end of this type of poor customer service. It’s unfortunate.

Staff very helpful and friendly

We usually check here first if we're looking for small things we need around the house, cheaper than average. Sometimes the item isn't great quality, but sometimes it's the same quality you'd get full price elsewhere. Great for party supplies.

I’ve been here a few times now and the staff are very nice and respectable. I was here last night for LED lights for inside my pumpkin and they change colours, they are awesome. Anyway, one light wasn’t working and the manager was so nice and ensuring that the replacement worked before I left. Thank you for making my exchange easy and helping me, I appreciated it.
