True North Motors & RV

I'm very disappointed with my recent visit to try and trade my high end enclosed trailer on a cheaper smaller utility trailer. I felt I was very clear with everything on the first visit. It seemed like we were talking the same language so I made the hour and a half drive each way to bring my trailer in to have it looked at. When I got there Rick liked my trailer and then said he would give me $5K for it. There obviously was a huge misunderstanding on his part and what the real value of it was. That is roughly a third to half of the current fair market value of this trailer so of course I declined. He said he would get one of the guys to appraise it which never happened. He then left the office and said he had to go open a trailer. I waited 10-15 minutes more and he didn't return so I got up and left. I know it's circus and fair season in Manitoba but I didn't expect to experience at a trailer dealership. My experience and what I observed is that the people and business seem very disorganized. This is also based on hearing how other people were dealt with while I was there. I only left one star as it wouldn't let me leave none.Shop with caution!

Bought a new Sonic last year. Used it 4 times and, almost each time, something went wrong (panelling, fuse for jack and the slide??). It's been sitting at dealer since last year with no parts or warranty work or registration on dealers part. No refund. No mechanic on site or at all! They are not certified to work on units. Offer to purchase back at almost half the cost!! Disappointed to say the least. They told me to contact manufacturer. Seems they like the sales and many star reviews but when they have to do the right thing, who knows. Buyer beware!!!

Nearly one year after purchase we feel as valued and supported by Rick and Johan as we did the day we signed the papers. A unique and wonderful experience! Highly recommend True North Motors and their Prolite trailers.

I have bought a truck and 2 trailers from True North and now a car. Johen and Rick and the True North group are great to deal with! Whatever you need or want they have or can find it for you. Great service and if you have a issue, they will do their best to make sure your satisfied with your purchase. I know I'll keep going back there!

Purchasing a RV at True North was a great experience. Their pricing was good and compared very favorably with dealerships across Canada when we did comparison shopping on the internet. It was a pleasure to deal with Johan (the boss) and his salesman Rick. Rick took extra time to show us all the features of the unit and when it came time to put it away for the winter, he showed us the whole process to winterize the RV. We have no problem highly recommending this dealership based upon our experience.

Our experience with True North Motors was excellent! We came in looking to purchase a light weight travel trailer. We decided on a Prolite Mini, drove out with it later that afternoon. Friendly people, great service, quality product! Much thanks to our salesman Richard!
