Dearborn Shoe Repair
I took my five-year-old boots here that had holes worn through on the soles and the heels worn past the pad. Gary was able to refresh them to as-good-as new or better for a fraction of the price of a replacement. I am excited to get many more years of life from my boots.

Called several times after my shoes were supposed to be ready. He wouldn’t answer phone or reply to voice messages.Used my wife’s phone and he answered. And he’s rather grouchy to deal with. Call there and see for yourself would not recommend

I was looking for a shoe repair in the local area. When I put in the search this business came up with some great ratings. Based on the reviews I decided to see if this shoe cobbler had the skill set to fix the soles on my shoes. Asking how much it would be to replace the soles I was taken aback however, I went ahead and left them. A few days later they were done. When I looked at the soles I was really, really impressed with the craftmanship. I complemented the owner and thanked him for a great job. Highly recommend this place for two reasons: 1. Great work and 2. Help keep small business like this around.

Great repairs, quick turnaround, like new boots for 1/3 the price of new ones! Second time I had Gary repair my boots, I wore the first pair before I took pics. They were as clean and neat as the second pair when I picked them up.

A actual real craftsmen. Not like a craft milkshake where a leaver is pulled the cup fills up & a dash of whipped cream & you are to be astonished by a lie? Real knowledge real skill very fair prices. It's a great place the owner does quality work. For as long as I'll be around here, I'll go there.

If zero stars was available it would be my choice. I went to this place for the first and last time to get a very expensive belt cut because it was too large. When i got ready to put it on for the correct measurements he told oh just put it around your waist. I get the belt back today and it's almost too small. One good hamburger and I won't be able to fit it. I'm sooo angry. No apologies No nothing. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy!

Brought in a pair of older Danner boots which need a full resole. Said a week to do and sure enough a week later they were ready. Totally satisfied with the work completed. They don't take credit/debit cards so plan in advance.
