Wanted to try this place out but I wish I read reviews before ordering. I got the chicken sandwich and the chicken was definitely not out of the fryer fresh, it was rather soft and no real crust/crisp to it.I would not order againAlso the interior looks rather questionable for the prices. It is very haphazardly put together. Behind the cash was very messy and cluttered. I was rather skeptical once I ordered my food and saw the condition behind the counter.My sandwich was 15$ for just the sandwich. It was large but taste was not there.

First time trying out this place. I ordered the spicy friend chicken burger and it was good. The bun had a slight sweet taste to it, the vegetables were fresh, the chicken was moist, batter was spicy and tasty, not greasy at all like some other places I’ve gone to. They said it would take about 15 min for my order but it was done in 9, which was great because I was hungry. Service was great! Got 20% off my walk-in order, but they give you 30% off if you order online from their site.

The Popcorn Chicken was definately the best of what we had (I would give it 4 stars) so if your trying this place make sure to get some. I was not a fan of their fries which were a bit soggy. The Spicy Fried Chicken Burger was okay but I would not order it again.

We typically go to Richmond for our fried chicken. Tried here tonight and it exceeded our expectations. Got half spicy and half regular, plus popcorn chicken. Incredibly crisp and very affordable! They had a discount for first time customers online when I went to checkout.

We ordered two popcorn chicken: one spicy and one original. They both tasted quite similar, with the spicy one being a bit more peppery.The ambience reminds you of a fast food chain but doesn't have the fast food buzz (it was empty when we went at 4pm). For about 23 dollars (9 dollars + tips and tax) we got a decent amount of chicken.Some reviews mentioned thick batter, and I agree, unfortunately.

Saw the sandwich board for chicken legs for $3.50 (50% off) which pulled me in. Ordered them and was told they usually don’t do small orders like that which I thought was strange but they did it anyways. The fried chicken legs came hot and fresh and were really good. I would order from here again.

I live within walking distance of this new fried chicken place and decided to try it out. They made it fresh and it took only about 5 minutes or so. I was disappointed they had absolutely no white meat on the menu, no chicken breast. So their popcorn chicken and chicken tenders are definitely not white meat either. Unlike a particular chain I tried lately, their chicken was not dry as you can see from the photos. I ordered the original instead of the spicy. Skin was nice and crunchy. I was quite pleased. Service was friendly and courteous.

Ordered popcorn chicken, and literally tried every single piece to find one that was edible. In a whole pack, only 4 pieces had actual meat. The rest were fried gristle. All that gristle isn't an accident, so I wonder where else they are cutting corners.I wasn't going to post a picture but the restaurant responded and rudely denied my experience. The picture is gross, but you can clearly see the gristle hidden under the batter. I throw gristle away at home, I'm not paying for it.Due to rude response I've also lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1.

Excellent price and best chicken and fries hands down! Lovely family run location, friendly. Perfect takeout for picnics, fries are still good cold and the chicken seems to stay hot forever and we seem to always burn our mouths from lack of patience. -salt lady
