Patty Gyal

I was craving a nice patty and I remember hearing about this place. I also read good reviews and looked at their IG. I went today and ordered 6. 3 spicy, 1 jerk chicken, 1 chicken and 1 ackee and saltfish. I had to wait for my ackee and saltfish, no problem, I don't mind waiting for fresh food. When I went to eat my fresh ackee and saltfish patty it was callaloo!?! Not even a callaloo and saltfish! Great disappointment as I was looking forward to it! And it was the most expensive one. Probably not going back. Wish I went when the good reviews were being written. The patties on their IG looked nice and full but were honestly disappointing irl. Flavours were decent but amount of filling?!?! Didn't finish the callaloo...Update: I called to tell them about the mix up and she told me I could come and get my ackee and saltfish patty. It was hot and fresh and really good! I'll probably go back for another... no mix ups though! Please and thanks!

I've been to Patty Gyal a few times and I am super disappointed. On a Wednesday at 12:15pm they have no spicy, mild beef or jerk chicken Patty's. How are you are a patty place and have no Patty's. I also need to comment on the customer service. The customer service Is horrible. If you have customers in your store I don't think you should be answering personal phone calls while people are trying to place orders. All in all it was not a good experience at all.

Great place very friendly and a magical little spot. Patty absolutely amazing and beautiful. Perfect flavor extremely delicious and the flake was superbly magnificent. Thank you and I will be back for regular visits. Much appreciation to the Patty Gyal staff for doing it right .

Awesome service and amazing patties!! I had the opportunity to try the beef, chicken curry and jerk chicken patties. It was a solid 9/10 and very very fresh. The pastry was flaky and the filling was well seasoned and moist. I will be returning for sure to try the other flavors!

We stopped in for some patties to check this place out. These beef patties are great and different selections to choose from. The outer shell was soft and everything tasted great.

Patty’s were good, hot & fresh! Came as soon as they opened so there wasn’t much of a line luckily. Will definitely be back to try the other flavours. We got mild & spicy beef, curry goat, jerk chicken, shrimp & veggie!

Stopped by for stuffed Pattie’s here, the stuffed Pattie’s were just ok, and the patty by itself was alright however the lady at the front desk was great to deal with. Was looking forward for a new patty that stood out, it was a good patty but nothing I’d travel/crave for. However the service was great, patty 3.5/5

First time and overall good effort. I will revisit when in the area.Nice ambiance definitely reminds you of Jamaica.I tried:Curry goatJerk chickenAckee and saltfishCallalooTaste wise it was on point even picked up an actual piece of saltfish in the ackee one. Packaging was good especially the curry goat.Where I hope to see improvement is:Size of the pattyColorCrust (that flakiness was missing)The coco bread too small for even the small patty.I didn't try any of the juices felt they were a tad overpriced. Just had a Cran Wata instead.

Elite patties - they are so fresh and delicious every single time. They slap whether you get the stuffed or not stuffed, even more so with coco bread. They also always have cool art on display by local artist. Woman owned with friendly staffed. Worth the short wait in line.

We tried the jerk chicken, beef (spicy), and ackee salt fish. Pastry is excellent, flaky and delicious- fillings were tasty, but the specific flavours for each one weren’t that strong to us. We would come back and just order the beef (spicy). We didn’t try the stuffed ones- maybe next time.
