We had our son in the mini monkeys since the beginning of COVID. Instructor JP who we have for our daily practices have been fantastic, encouraging and like many other reviews have mention, our son absolutely loves going to BJJ, is building confidence, learning to listen and simple put, the instructor led training is building a great foundation of values needed to succeed in all aspects of life.From a parent perspective, they were very fair throughout dealing with challenges from COVID and allow you to pause membership summer vacation which is critically important for our family as we do lots of summer travels and camping.

Tried it out. My kids have been in jujitsu for 5 years. Been to a few places.I wouldn't recommend this place. The coaches are unwelcoming. Sets the tone for the whole gym. When you walk in you feel incredibly unwelcome. The whole class we felt like we should not be there. Maybe its great if you have been going a long time. I had a bad vibe the second I stepped in the door and it stayed the whole time. We won't be back.

Love this place! Started with my husband and son joining Jiu Jitsu four and a half years ago and Monitor JP is absolutely amazing:)Now, not only have I joined Jiu Jitsu this last year, my daughter has joined Karate as well.All the instructors here whether it’s BJJ, Karate or Muay Thai are amazing with the kids and have tons of patience with us adults! It’s a wonderful place to train and would definitely recommend!!

My son has been attending Arashido since March 2021. We moved from Airdrie and had to find a new dojo. We went to different places and tried different martial arts in the city. As soon as we left Arashido, his face lit up and he felt at home. He begged to start classes right away.The instructors are great. Fair, open and honest. My son leaves tired but feeling great. Great communication with everyone in the office.We love it there. We've seen so much growth in my son thanks to Arashido.

My 5 yr. old son is in BJJ Mini Monkeys. He is always super excited to go to his BJJ training sessions and he absolutely loves and is always looking forward to the fun games they play during each class.Tuesdays and Thursdays are his favourite days of the week- because it’s (we call it) Jiu jitsu day! He would always say, “We can’t miss a day mom! I need to earn another stripe!”He recently earned his Yellow bar-He was so happy he couldn’t contain his excitement the day he got it.I highly recommend Arashi Do Deerfoot!

Class size can be very large with some times having 20 students for 1 instructor. Please cap class size or add more classes or instructors. On the plus side, instructors address students who misbehave or don't listen during class.

Arashi Do has been part of our lives since 2015 when my older daughter started Karate. We had a small pause and then came back where both my daughters and myself joined Karate classes and Muay Thai classes. All the instructors have something unique to offer and they make sure to dedicate effort and time to their students. Thank you to the instructors and staff who create a safe and fun space for all of us to enjoy!!

Got recommended by a friend. And has been the best decision not only does our daughter get excited about going to karate every time, she learned so much and had become very great thanks to her instructors. Great with kids , great discipline, great program all around!

The best program in the city for Jiu Jitsu for children hands down. The instructors are all super friendly, approachable and know how to keep the kids highly engaged, thank you JP! The whole program is run like one big ol' family feeling, thank you Sensei Lynn. Highly recommended.

The instructors here are experienced and it shows. The way they keep the kids engaged and moving while teaching them, is constructive and entertaining for students and parents. I can see why this organization has been around for so long and why they continue to be successful. Highly recommend!
