My mom resided in this home for over 10 years. Sheila is an angel her compassion for the residents is no short of amazing. Eva is following exactly in those foot steps. The nurses on staff are amazing but my favorite 2 are Izzy and Connie. Who both take the care part of their job very seriously. I loved knowing that my mom (who has epilepsy among other issues) never felt like a burden but more of an extended family member. Highly recommend to anyone needing a place for their parents. Thank you all a million times over.Reason for leaving is I moved north and needed her close to me.

My Mom suffers from various forms of severe dementia. I recently moved her from another retirement home to Niagara Gardens. My Mom loves it!!!!!! And that's the main thing.I can tell you that the staff has gone beyond their scope, to help the transition be as easy as possible!!!Niagara Gardens is a Wonderful place!!! Beautiful gardens and outdoor sitting areas!Beautiful apartments. And the food is phenomenal!!!!!!!Staff are so supportive and caring, it's just amazing!!!!!!!!My Mom hasn't been this happy in years!!!!She's now remembering things a little more and has become very sociable!!!She's made some wonderful friends and is finally enjoying life.Residents there are extremely welcoming and took my Mom under their wing to help her adjust and feel welcome. It actually brought me to tears to see the genuine love and support that Mom has received from both the residents and staff. My Mom now calls it HOME !!!!If I could I'd give Niagara Gardens a 10 outta 10 !!!!!!!!!!

The staff is unbelievably nice and Sheila is an amazing woman with a big heart for others, I really appreciate everyone there for my grandmother in the past and now another family member. Many new updates very welcoming. Wouldn't think twice of anywhere else but here. Never any negative feelings from Niagara Gardens.River

I can't say enough about Niagara Gardens.Sheila is the most amazing person. Kind and thoughtful, very knowledgable and treats everyone like they're family. All the staff are very friendly yet still very professional. The facility itself is very clean and well kept. And the meals are terrific. Both my aunt and uncle have thrived here since we moved them down from their home in Toronto. And constantly seeing the other residents every time I'm there, you can tell this is one happy, relaxed place to be. My sister and I feel extremely lucky that we found Niagara Gardens.

My aunt and uncle left their home in another city to be closer to family and are thriving at Niagara Gardens! They are so well taken care of that it has made the transmission that much easier for them. The whole staff are friendly and work hard to make the residents comfortable. We are all so pleased this is where they chose to be.

Both parents were at Niagara Gardens Long Term Care Home during transition for medical / physical needs. The care was more than one could ask for and both parents would be permanent residents today if my travel distance was not so far away. The staff looked after their emotional and physical needs with respect and care. Father especially enjoyed the activities and you could tell he felt comfortable and secure in their care. You could tell the team is there for their residents and care is personal with each persons needs being a priority.

My review is positive. My Father has been a resident in the Independent living building for more than 3 years. During these past years he has not once complained about his meals. Everyone I speak to says the food is great. There are activities scheduled and Dunlop Centre is right there and some of the residents choose to use it and some like to hangout in the lobby. The premises are clean and the staff are cheerful and polite. There's always parking available at any time. When I've had things I needed to discuss I have always found the nurses on duty very helpful. The doctor is there on Mondays and Dads room is cool in the summer and nice and warm in the winter. I have highly recommended Niagara Gardens to other people with aging parents.

My mom was there for three weeks in a transitional bed program. The staff were very friendly, caring and helpful. The meals there were very good, she looked forward to them. Mom's needs were more than satisfied. She did not want to leave when her placement came through. I wish we could have afforded for her to stay there. She was in a safe place and well cared for, what more can a family ask for? Thumbs up to all of you, thanks for taking such care of my mom. I would not hesitate to recommend your home to anyone, that includes family and friends too!

I felt that ALL of the staff were VERY positive toward my mother during her interim period there before being placed in permanent long term care. The meals were well prepared and there was enough parking space. Her room was always clean and comfortable. I was very happy that I could have Niagara Gardens as her temporary home.

I have taken my time to properly gather my thoughts and post a review about Niagara Gardens that is about my experience with my Mother Kathleen and reflects the impact of Niagara Gardens on both of our lives. January 2016 my Mom arrived as a Transitional patient from the hospital. No caregiver wants to place their loved one in a assisted living facility as they feel guilty and as if they have failed, but at some time you realize it is necessary and the professional assistance is needed on a 24/7 basis. From the moment we arrived we were met by Krysta who immediately showed her love and caring and took away my stress and Mom fell in love with her immediately. Within 2 days I asked Sheila if Mom could stay as she was very happy and fortunately the answer was yes". There was no further move. Today is Nov. 19
