Very disappointed of their warranty. Our doors started peeling the first year to the point they took 2 doors back and redid them.The store we baught them from has been trying to get a rep out to see our doors. It has been 4 years and we have one that looks like it is 30 years old.The store says Dashwood has washed their hands of us.Not happy.with them is a mild way of saying what we truly think.

I see alot of below average ratings but honestly I had a great experience with Dashwood. They stopped at nothing until we were completely satisfied with the windows in our new build.

Our home has Dashwood Windows throughout (new build )I have several windows that have defective hardware (rusted out)I have tried for 2 years multiple times even spoke to a representative they looked it up on their file system they could see all the windows in our home, the sizes and all took all the information and never bothered getting back to me. I tried several times over the next following 2 years through emails and phone calls and still nothing!! Terrible customer service

The Worst Sliding Window installed in our Main Bathroom.If I could give Dashwood Windows a ZERO rating, I definitely would.Moved from Hamilton to Tillsonburg in June. 2021.Bought a new house from Hayhoe Homes, who sources their Windows from Dashwood Windows.A sliding window was installed in our Main Bathroom.Opening and closing the window is a nightmare.To open the window, it has to be gripped form the centre point of the window only.If it's grabbed from any other point on the window, the window Rakes" and gets stuck diagonally at the top and bottom.Both Hayhoe Homes and Dashwood refuses to service the window

We ordered a custom door in February and have yet to see it (we originally placed the order in October, but it was cancelled). This is significantly delaying the completion of my home build. There has been no communication and just delay after delay. We have spent A LOT of money on windows from dashwood as well. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Happy to change my review if someone contacts me.

Looking at the reviews you guys install windows like you drive. Terrible! Next time you want to tailgate someone for the 10 kilometres to the point your front license plate is not visible, with small kids in the car, when there are cars in front of them be smart enough not to do it in a company van.Edited for response:I’m sorry you assume I didn’t try calling in and was left on hold, or called back again and was transferred to a voicemail with no response. I’m asked to be “courteous” but is it possible I had to make an account and post my first ever review to get a response? You don’t ask when or where this happened or provide someone’s contact info so that this can be dealt with further. That may have been the courteous thing to do.

Multiple defects found on 9 windows installed in June 2022. Bent gaskets, scratched windows. Frame had burrs which will prevent water drainage on yhe track. It is evident post covid results has greatly impacted the quality of the dashwood windows company. Be prepared for 6+ months of lead time for orders.I used them back in 2009 and no issues.

I contacted Dashwood industries in regards to a broken seal on a bedroom window. Almost impossible to speak to someone directly or even have them return a call. The window would still be under warranty , but they failed to keep the invoice from the builder.. so therefore they will not cover it. Don’t see how this would be my fault or the builder since the warranty is upheld through dashwood and they are responsible for keeping all invoices for their 20 year warranty. I voiced that to the service agent and she later told me that their warranty was only 10 years in 2000 when we built our home. This is untrue as it states on their website all warranties and it states 20 years for the year we built. I have sent an email and also left a message on the service managers voicemail requesting a call with no prevail. Very upsetting and I am disappointed on how they treat their customers.Do not purchase windows from Dashwood!! They are awful to deal with!!!!

We ordered 2 doors from Dashwood in May, 2021. It's now October and we are just being told now that our doors have not even been ordered. Dashwood has decided that due to lack of supply they are only going to fill orders made by builders. The manager straight up told me that if a builder puts in an order tomorrow he will get his order while I will not! Obviously I am canceling my order and have called elsewhere. Although there is a wait time to receive a new door, other companies have assured me that they are not taking Dashwood's approach and are filling orders for all customer's not just builders. If you are looking for new doors, Dashwood is clearly not the place to call!!!
