purchased 5 bags of topseeding soil twice ( i didn't have room to pult all 10 bags in one trip) 3 weeks ago for my backyard lawn. Once i got all 10 bags i started putting on my lawn, i noticed that it contains a lot more mulch than should be, I only used 9 bags of soil for the area and kept 1 bag. I continued on to spread the grass seeds, used the back of the leaf rake to move dirt to cover seeds a bit and added more seeds on top. Watered the area for about 1 hour. Next day i noticed that their are lots of little rocks on the soil. It's been 3 weeks and haven't noticed new grass growth. The soil looks like demolition wasted that's been crushed and mixed with some mulch and compost and manure. I bought topseeding soil from another place to work on another area a few days after and that second area already has visible new grass growing. I sent email but no reply

Tony was exceptional! I brought in a Greenworks Pro Electric lawn mower for repair, where I thought I had broken the blade shaft’s connection to the motor. Turns out the red emergency key was ajar; quick push back in place and it was working perfectly. As red as my face was with embarrassment, Tony was a gentleman and a professional: gave me some tips on what to look for regarding the warranty, and didn’t charge me for the inspection. I highly recommend Tony and Homeland for your small engine / lawn mower repair needs.

Great service - easy to order, helpful, quick. The triple mix soil is exactly what I wanted and after a few days of watering can see it is well draining, remaining rich and dark. Nice earthy smell with a hint of manure. And the price is very competitive, especially with such quick and careful delivery exactly onto my tarp! I will definitely come back!

John and Tony are just great. They picked up, repaired and returned our snowblower as quick as can be. Both are informative and enthusiastic about their work. Very knowledgable. They me a thorough explanation of the repairs completed including preventative measures undertaken. Very professional. Highly recommend.

The guys here are very helpful, honest, and knowledgeable with lawn equipment repairs! I brought my lawnmower here for some service that the manufacture said should be in warranty, even though I admitted it was likely user fault. I figured I would find out what it needed from these guys and get it repaired if reasonable. Turns out the issue I described was out of warranty, but these guys helped me to get it started after pointing out the user error and didn’t even charge a penny since it was easily resolved. I would recommend a friend here without any hesitation. I plan to stop by just to drop off a little thank you gift next time I am in the area. Very rare to find businesses like this these days.

I had a small engine repair to be done and the company that manufactured my unit directed me to Homeland as one of their service centers. From the first call Tony was very knowledgeable on the make and model and was able to provide a cost effect solution for my snow blower. I was very happy with the outcome however happier I spoke with a customer service driven owner who took his time to explain the issues and solutions effectively. They have me as a lifetime customer now.

Great service. Nice people and very good to support local families when you can.We get all our soil, screening and gravel here. Bought some gravel and finished a walk way today. Also bought 2 yards of triple mix last year to make new beds and you can see the end result.

I needed my snowblower repaired at short notice due to an impending winter storm. Once I called these guys they picked it up within an hour and had it back in full working order the next day. Great service, and very nice guys. Highly recommend.

Good Plato buy compost, plants, perlite, vermiculite, and other soil amendments. My neighbour recommended this place. I wish I knew before. Will visit again.
