Café Jardin
My favorite café right now; the staff is amazing, the vibe is great and cozy and the food is all vegan (and *delicious*, especially their chicken" burger). It's spacious too

A lovely and cozy cafe in one of the coolest streets in Montreal. I enjoy the atmosphere there when there’s with the cold wind blowing outside. What I ordered was the brunch combo special for the maple festival. I like its presentation but I have to say that the tofu and bean made bacons are too salty.

Loved the place! All Vegan. We went for two Cortados, a regular croissant and a BLT. Cortado was very good. BLT was great as well. But what we loved the most was croissant - one of the best we've had in Montreal. In fact, after our meal, we got another regular one and a chocolate one for home. The chocolate one was also amazing! While there's 2-3 tables at the main floor, they have a large seating space in the basement that can accommodate a large group. There's no table service since it's two people running the show. So you basically order and once it's done, you can take it and sit wherever you want. They have a small grocery store in the back (which is perhaps another business) which is great to check out while you wait for the order. They also have small plants available for purchase and from what my wife mentioned they were almost the same price or even less compared to the supermarkets.Definitely recommended!!!

Very nice service. The barista helped in making a special drink that's not in the menu.

Amazing eco conscious café! They offer all types of hot drinks to go in little jars you can return. They also have vegan pastries. I had a oatmeal latte and a croissant - both were delicious. I got there at 8:15AM and the pastries were just out the oven and fresh! They share their space with an eco store! Lots of plants for sale in there as well as cookbooks, kombucha, etc.

This cafe once had an amazing barista who knew her coffees, the beans and how different milks hit differently in the mix. Now, 6$+ for a cup and it’s good for the trash. (I’ve tried 3 different times this week with same results)So very acid it’s undrinkable. Although the people were welcoming, I used to come here just for the coffee since this place has nothing much else going for it.It falls very flat in competition with any other cafe. I’m very disappointed. They do sell a small variety of beans at a reasonable price and are linked to a small market at the back.

Café Jardin has the flakiest, vegan-butteriest, most delicious croissants! I brought a bunch to a gathering and everyone was shocked to find out they were vegan...they're that good! I've also had the vegan cashew-cream croissant and the banh mi sandwich and both were outstanding. And a special shout out to the cafe chef/owner(?) - I was looking for some vegan, gluten-free pastry options for 2 celiac friends and they didn't have anything ready, but the chef offered to make some special gf cashew-cookies in 10 mins while I waited—my friends were so grateful! The customer service is always top notch. 5+++
