Medicare Walk-in Clinic Country Hills

I was wary of going to this clinic because of the reviews, but I was desperate. I am glad I did, the staff and the physician were all great.The staff were kind and accommodating when I had to come back the same day. Dr. Swara saw me right away and was thorough. I will go back to this walk in.

Lovely receptionists and caring doctors! I spent roughly an hour and a half there but I’ve never had a walk in visit shorter than that. Overall very good experience. I see most walk-ins with poor ratings so I thought I’d give credit where it due!

My husband went to this Medicare clinic in June 2023. A line outside the doors was forming. Clinic was supposed to open at 9am. When it was already past 9am, a patient in front of my husband turned around & told him that this is not the first time that they have been late. By 9:17am the doors finally opened, only for the patients to be informed that the doctor wouldn't arrive until 10am. Nearly 2 hours later (and my husband was the 4th person in line), he was then attended to by a male doctor. The doctor took 5 minutes, & didn't help my husband out at all! My husband's ear was plugged for 6 days, which left him nauseous & dizzy. All home remedies failed. He was told it was probably vertigo but Gravol won't help for dizziness. YES IT WILL (it literally is written on the package). He didn't suggest any exercises that can help, nothing. That was 2 hours of wasted time. I have vertigo, & was immediately tended to accordingly by my family doctor, yet my husband received zero advice. He was so dizzy that he was almost falling down. SMH.Plus, why is one doctor & one receptionist serving potentially thousands of walk in patients? If you do not have the staff, close down.

We had been lucky for always having great family doctors, including 2 retired ones. But our luck came to an end at this clinic. We are a family of 6 joined this clinic about 6 months ago, my wife and I are still waiting for our first official meet-and-greet, when the first meeting was cut short because the doctor told us she was too busy that day. Our father has a few tests over a month ago and no follow up from them. While our 4 y old is required to be referred to a paediatrician, and had also done a few tests, no follow up! They kept canceling our appointments, last minutes usually. We tried to call them numerous times for the past month and it is impossible to talk to someone, or to leave a simple message. We then found their head office online, we thought we could book through there, but the link loops back to this very clinic. It should not be such a pain to book an appointment, let alone seeing our doctor. They do not even deserve 1 Star!

One star for Kramdad.Kramdad is awesome,the other female doctors were sooo rude to me when I did walk in , did not give me any treatment , doesn’t know my situation when I explained , has no patience to listen. Horrible experiences When I dod my walk in.

We used the walk-in clinic twice. The reception staff was very professional and caring. The wait times depend on the day but are not too bad. Overall a great experience.

I really appreciate being helped by Melina (not sure of spelling) and the reception team as I had booked a last-minute urgent bloodwork appointment today. Melina was very kind and accommodating as I needed extensive tests done. Thank you!

Had an excellent walk in patient experience today. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming to me as my family doctor is on the other side of the city. The check in experience is smooth and your blood pressure gets taken immediately once they confirm your file with AB Healthcare.Dr. Brar helped me out this afternoon and she was excellent. Thank you for your prompt treatment and valuable healthcare advice! The patient experience is a pretty vulnerable one so I appreciated the care and consideration taken with these interactions!

If I could give zero I would. I brought my daughter in to DR Swaro a few months ago with crazy ulcers in her mouth. She missed diagnosed her. Giving her a horrible mouth rise that was extremely painful and made things worse. I brought my daughter back and she said there's nothing she could do for us and to take her to the children's hospital. I did they diagnosed her properly and got her better. I also took her for blood work and scans. The results have never been given to me or a call back.I myself went in with bad stomach pain. I went for all ultrasound and was told she didn't see anything. But thinks I have Kidney Stones..... I now await in stress that I could become in extreme pain and any minute. She couldn't care less. Thank you for nothing and this is the reason our Emergency departs are so busy because of Drs like Dr Swaro that leave people no choice but to seek better advise.

The front desk will either not answer or hang up on you constantly. Dr. Kay Laverty is possibly the worst doctor I’ve ever met. Arrogant and dismissing, poor manners which sums up the rest of the staff there. If you wonder why Dr. Laverty is always available to take new patients, this is why! One appointment with her and you’ll never go back.
