Had such a poor experience with our waitress, we were the only people in the whole restaurant for a late lunch and she didn't seem to care at all that we were there, waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken, and she never checked in on us. Even when we left there wasn't a single person in the dining area, only to see they were at the side of the building smoking. Luckily our food was good, since it was my birthday.

Extremely slow service, meal took very long to get even though it wasn't busy. Waitress brought me the wrong order and argued with me that that is what I ordered. There was literally a hair tangled in the coleslaw. Another order wasn't filled completely. Made us feel rushed because they were closing early. All our food entries were cold. Would not return or recommend ever!

Well took forever to get waited on, order the Brisket sandwich with crispy fries. The fries came white and not cooked the Brisket sandwich should of had apple butter BBQ sauce but was dry. I had to ask server to grab me some BBQ sauce to put on my sandwich . Really I guess the last time I will spend money on this place. The server was nice that is the only reason I gave 1 star.

I like their food, I like their decorations and space. But sometimes it takes a lot of time for your food to be ready, especially time between appetizers and main food. Most of their staff are so nice but a few of them are not so professional. That I recommend them if they want to improve, it’s better to train them to talk with their customers and understand their needs.

Nice country style experience. Not a regular, but think it's a nice restaurant. Other reviewers say the service is poor, but I found the host to be prompt. The waitress, Victoria was very good. She did several checkups to make sure we were well taken care of. I had fish a d chips. The fish was a little soggy. My wife had ribs. She said its terrific. Would dine here again.

Went for a birthday meal and enjoyed great food and great service. All the food was great but the BBQ ribs are some of the best you can get and we had friendly, efficient service and a fun night. Very reasonable bill for the amount we ate. Also really well set up for a night out with kids. My two loved drawing on the table and of course the moose hat and staff singing the birthday song make this a sure thing for kids.

Went in for my friend’s birthday lunch, and we left extremely disappointed. Got seated and was told our waitress would be with us to grab our drink order.Hostess came back and said the waitress was busy and she took our drink order and appetizer.20 minutes go by and still haven’t seen our waitress so my friend got up to see if she could find someone. Sure enough she was by the bar chatting.She did come take our order after seeing my friend get up.During the whole encounter she did not ask how our food was once. Luckily the food was good but the service was very poor, especially for us being the only table in the restaurant.

Going for dinner isn’t something I get to do a lot so it’s a real treat, or at least I hope it is. We showed up for a birthday dinner and it ended up being ‘all you can eat ribs’ night. I thought it sounded great so me and 2 others opted in. It turns out the other 2 didn’t hear the part about the deal doesn’t count if you order chicken wings with your ribs. That doesn’t make much sense but rules are rules. I heard all the rules fine but the server wasn’t around much and I couldn’t get her attention when I was ready for more ribs. Next thing we know dessert shows up and that was that ! I was very disappointed.

Walk in sat down at 5:05pm. Got deep fried pickles, batter wasn't even on the pickles, sent them back. They never brought a replacement for our pickles. Our ribs and burger came at 6:05pm (an hour later) barely at room temperature, gravy had a film on the top of it from sitting. We walked out.We ordered before a large group, and we watched the group get there meal before us. We will never be going back to this Montana's in Fort Saint John.
