Can’t say enough good things about this store and its staff.They are always so helpful with selecting colours and have let me bring in frogged yarn to re-wind.I always try to catch a sale here but the high quality of fibres they carry make the prices quite reasonable. They carry all types and weights of yarn and have fibre art and garments on display made with common methods and popular patterns. The staff can get you started or help you grow your skills.The community events they put on include knitting groups and lessons. They are very welcoming and worth checking out!

Wolseley Wool is my favourite place to buy yarn and knit and crochet notions. They have a wide selection of yarn, including some really lovely local yarns like Dye for Ewe. They also have a fantastic knitting needle selection, with wood or metal options for many needle sizes. Their shop has the perfect cosy atmosphere for the classes they offer; I’ve just started a knitting class there and I already quite enjoy it.

We take knitting classes here, about to start our fourth. The instructors are awesome and patient, and have taught me so many things about the fundamentals. The staff on the store side are fantastic as well. Always there to give advice and help out! Highly recommend them!

This is the only place to buy your yarn. The quality of everything they carry is top notch. If you're going to invest your time in making something you should shop here for your yarn!

I highly recommend you visit this store. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. And they have an amazing selection! I was especially impressed with their collection of locally hand-dyed yarns.

Lovely yarn shop! The staff are friendly and super helpful. They carry a wide range of yarn and needles/hooks. As well as embroidery supplies and even punch needle. It's tucked away in the cutest neighborhood surrounded by unique houses and other sweet shops.

The last independent yarn store in Winnipeg, to the best of my knowledge. My wife and I have shopped here for years. The current location is brighter and easier to browse than the previous one. A wide selection of quality yarns, plus needles and crochet hooks and other accessories. Staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. You're paying for good yarns and service, so it's not cheap, but you can snag a good deal on sale sometimes. A must-visit if you're into knitting or crochet.
