If you're homesick for some authentic latino snacks or groceries, this is the place to go! They've got many of my favourite candies from my childhood (Pulparindos and Paletas Payaso) as well as fresh tortillas and even queso Oaxaca. I love picking up huge bottles of Chamoy here - the price is always right at Mercado Latino. A great little spot to explore and take advantage of right here in Ottawa!

Great location to get even the most obscure latin ingredients. Their corn tortillas come delivered fresh from Montreal as well as their different authentic style cheeses. Lots of different latin canned goods from a variety of different name brands.

I love this place! It may look small, but it actually has a great variety of authentic Mexican brands at reasonable prices. I've found products that I haven't seen anywhere else in Ottawa. On top of that, the woman at the cash is super friendly!

Came here to pick up some ingredients that I needed for a dish and the staff were very helpful in helping me find them and suggesting alternatives when they didn't have something.

Great little spot for all of your Latin American food needs. It's a little on the expensive side, but at least you're supporting a small business with your dollars here.

I do all my Latino shopping there, even when I can find the same products at the local grocery store because I want to support a local small enterprise. For the past dozen years that I've shopped there, it is always the same woman at the cashier desk (except once). The prices are extremely reasonable, and I find things there that I cannot find other stores like the Queso Cotija cheese.

The only place East of downtown I've found where you can get Oaxaca cheese! Very nice little shop with a number of great authentic Mexican and S.American goods

:3 they have a ton of stuff that's hard to get elsewhere. Crema (not sour), obleas de la sevillana, chiles guajillo, pasilla y ancho. Etc... Tajín!!!
