Fantastic and warm staff. We have been trusting them with our pets needs for nearly 10 years.

I called to get an appointment my dog has ear issues since a puppy. Again today I’m told they don’t have the ability to see him. I explained that his ears are not just irritated that is extremely bad almost to the point of bleeding. I’m told no appointments today none tomorrow. Not even Friday. Same as the last time I called. When I question why they don’t seem to ever have emergency appointments I’m told they don’t have any today this was at 9:30 this morning but have a few tomorrow but they can’t book one for him today I have to call back tomorrow morning. This is mind boggling why not book him for an emergency appointment for tomorrow why do I have to call again tomorrow morning his ears are not going to miraculously be better tomorrow when they are almost bleeding from scratching all night. Then she says if I can’t wait I can go to the emergency clinic tonight. Same answer last time I needed an appointment. When I say this is not the first time I couldn’t get get an appointment for up to a week from calling them i was told that this is a problem for most clinics within Durham region for a while not just their clinic.I hung up called my daughters vet at the Roswell animal hospital and they offer me choice of 2 times this afternoon. They were the vet that saw him last year when he had his ear issue and again saw him the same day I called. They also charge almost 1/2 less per visit then the East oshawa animal hospital.I wouldn’t recommend this vet unless you are only using them for annual visits. I know these are pets not humans but they also have medical issues that just pop up and are not planned just like people. So disappointing. I will be looking for a new clinic for my dog.I also had the issue last year when they over charged me for his neutering they charged an exam fee. When I questioned why I would be charged an exam fee for his surgery they said that shouldn’t have been charged that the vet had added that to the billing and that they would put a credit on my account for the $120.00 this should have been refunded to my credit card.

Huge thanks to East Oshawa Animal Hospital for stepping up when our usual vet could not.One of our yard cats had become extremely emaciated and we felt he was suffering and needed to be put down. Our vet was booked up and could not help us.Our friends daughter is a vet at the East Oshawa Animal Hospital, and even though she was off that day, she made a call for us to help. When I contacted the hospital I was given a time for later that same day to bring our poor boy in.Thank you to all the staff that helped us and special thanks to Dr. Ashleigh Sheridan for making that call and Dr. Peter McKenzie for being there and for being so nice.They saw him at his worst so here is a picture taken May of this year. He was always a bit scruffy but he was a nice boy. (except when he was killing our chipmunks lol)

We have been extremely happy with the care and services at EOAH. The clinic staff and vets are professional and compassionate in caring for our dog and 2 cats. We have had emergency treatment, same day appointments for urgent issues and phone conversations with Dr Hillis and Dr McKenzie for ongoing health management. I have full confidence in their advice, explanations of treatment options and treatment plans. The doctors and clinic staff were very compassionate and helpful in the end of life care for our cats. We highly recommend this animal hospital for all your pet health needs!

My dog and cat were cared for by this office. We have I think seen every vet they have and they have always been kind, informative, empathic. Will not go anywhere else! Awesome service!!!

The team at EOAH have always been amazing to myself and my girl Molly. Their passion for pets really shines through with their level of care. This vet has always been wonderful to my dog. Thank you EOAH!

Dr. Manak is such a kind, knowledgeable, and helpful veterinarian. She's provided such thorough care for our cat for which I'm very grateful and appreciative.

I highly recommend Dr. Ashleigh Sheridan. She took great care of our Allie from a puppy until we had to say goodbye after 16 years. She was so kind and helpful and made our last hours bearable. Have always had wonderful care at this animal hospital.
