Baker Park Disc Golf Course

Frisbee should be removed from the name.Fantastic beginners disc golf course. The layout has been altered to red baskets making the course easier than it was previously. Now the course is all 200 to 300 foot shots. If you are an intermediate to advanced disc golfer this will be a course to practice approach shots on. On the silver layout it has a wider variety of holes. This is a well played course so expect many other golfers. The average play time for 18 holes is 1.5 hours, 2 hours if it is busy. This is also an active picnic park so expect some bystanders here and there. Before 9 am the course has very few people on it. There is also an active glow disc golf league so this is probably the best night course to play on it Calgary.

Fantastic course for a intermediate player. I used most of the discs in my bag indicating lots of different shot possibilities for the course. Some long and some short holes with challenges. It made me earn my 2 birdies and gave me a few bogies. Will make a priority to visit this course again when I am Calgary next time

I really enjoy all 18 holes here. Front 9 have a variety of tree obstacles and back 9 has a lot more distance over all. Really fun to play!

Well maintained 18 hole course with lots of variety, but lacks up/down hill shots. The most popular course in the city, which can mean some waiting

Baker Park is a fantastic course. Even with the new David Richardson course, Baker still holds its own. It is a mature course and so is more difficult to lose a disc (but still totally possible). Some unique shots/holes and a variety of distances will mean you will use more than just 3 discs out your bag. Oh and there are concrete T-pads.

Free disc golf course! 18 holes! One of the best free activities to do in Calgary! A great community exists with this sport. You’ll need to bring your own discs but it’s a beginner course great for trying out the sport. Some holes have multiple tees for different levels of experience and the holes are well made and well marked. You can find the layout of the holes on OpenStreetMap or the Calgary disc golf community site. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for something to do. All ages, all skills. Fun for everyone.

It’s a nice but busy course, favourite in the city, everyone is always so nice. Usually bystanders stay out of the west side of the park which is the disc golf course although nothing but flying discs keeps them from doing so. Classic

Good course to do with some friends. Nothing too crazy in terms of technicality. Can get pretty busy in the summer so I usually skip to the back 9 first
