Backstreet WEST Pub & Pizza
A couple nights ago after work, me and some of my co-workers stopped by for some drinks. There was probably 15 of us that got there around midnight and Cindy, our waitress, was an absolute gem!! We ordered multiple drinks and shots and they all came out super delicious and pretty fast, especially considering how large our group was. She was also super understanding, very sweet, and had no problem following through with any, and all of our requests. Even at 1am!! Not only that but she even took the time to make sure everything was right for each of us and really went the extra mile to provide us with such amazing service! It was my first time there and I can’t wait to go back and request her as a server!! Super impressive work, she definitely deserves a raise! Keep up the great work :)

Stopped in for lunch other day with friend from work. Service was good, atmosphere feels like lots of regulars probably come here. Local pub vibeFood was good had taco salad buddy had Jamie sandwich and some cold beers wash it down. Heard pizza is good here have to try next time.

My friends and I have been going to Backstreet religiously for years. Since I first started going in 2015, the service, staff, and food has been consistent and exceeded expectation on nearly every occasion. But ever since late last summer, things have gone downhill fast. Prices are higher and quality is lower for food and service. They have replaced some of their best servers with ditsy, young girls who seem to think the way to get a bigger tip is to choose one or two guys and give them all of their attention, while ignoring everyone else in the bar. Portion sizes are abysmal and the food comes out looking and tasting different every time. After my last experience, where my two friends and I sat down at a table and watched the only server flirt with a younger guy seated at the bar for 10 minutes before she even noticed us, I definitely will not be coming back. Not sure what's caused such a huge shift, but they should stick to what's worked and kept them in business for years or they are going to be just another local bar that ends up closing their doors for good.

In what UNIVERSE is this a Chef Salad? My bad for not reading the menu description but chef salads are the same salad everywhere on earth except for this place, apparently. Whoever the chef is that came up with this abomination, please take the bottle away from himEdit, in light of the response from the restaurant: My deepest apologies for thinking that a CHEF SALAD should be a CHEF SALAD. Please look up what constitutes a Chef Salad. It’s not this. This isn’t a different spin on the same salad. This is an entirely different salad. If I ordered a caeser salad and this was brought out, I’d have the same issue. I don’t care if you think these ingredients go well together. These ingredients are not a Chef Salad. Leave this salad on the menu, fine, but don’t call it something it isn’t. Hopefully next time I come in for a burger you don’t try to serve me a hot dog and say “we make it different than everyone else”.

The Jaime sandwich is delicious! We came for lunch and had a great time. Service was quick and very friendly. This is a pub and I found the decor busy but for a night out it would be fine. If you've never tried the Jaime sandwich I recommend it. it's basically a delicious pizza sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. You get to pick 3 toppings, I had pepperoni, bacon, and green peppers. So good! We also had the pizza perogies which were on special.

Depending on the day, and who is working, this can be a nice quite place for the 4:00 to 6:00 folks to meet with friends to have a conversation and a cold drink. On other days, however, and with increasing frequency, the music is cranked up so loud you have to shout in order for the person sitting next you to hear what you've said. Until that changes, I'll take my business elsewhere, which is what I understand a growing number of regulars are doing. Great local pub. Atmosphere and service were great. Our server, Taryn, was exceptional! If you are looking for a pub atmosphere for an evening out, this is the place to go.

One of my favorite Pizza places in Lethbridge!! Can't go wrong with a cheap jug of Backstreet and a pizza. It's kind of small but it's got a cozy atmosphere.
