The buyers premium was reasonable and the handling fee comparable to other auctions. The purchase price I paid was very good.It was my first and last time buying anything from encore.I reached their street at 1048am. I waited in a line on the road for about 45 minutes. Once in the lot it was chaotic but I found a spot and waited. Almost every driver got out and went inside I was confused why. But waited a little impatiently for a clerk to bring my 3 items. The one item was definitely not what I bid on. The clerk told me the lot number matched so if I wanted I could ask for a refund. So I had to go into the building and my refund was quickly processed. I guess they're good at that. I drove out of the parking lot at 1149am. Exactly 1 hr waiting. So I left without getting the item I wanted. It was an hour drive so I imagined how angry I would have been to go all that way, wait all that time, waste all that gas to go home empty-handed.I won't chance it again. There are many other auction houses offering similar items with a better streamlined system and friendly service

This auction site/store is not only a scam but also provided the worst customer service experience. We have purchased from them spending roughly $400 on various items, most of which are broken, defective or do no work.When you first arrive to pick up your items, be prepared to wait 1-2 hours to pick up your goods. They are not handled with care at all. We were given items that were not in our order and missed other that were suppose to be. Upon trying to return the item that wasn’t ours, no thank you or comment on the honesty. Once we receive the item THEY missed, we were treated with extreme disrespect as if it was our fault. The girls working in the “office” were very rude and did not even try to understand our issues.To follow all the above up, out of 15 items purchased, more then half do not work or are defective. They will not return the items and give some jargon of them being final sale. If this is the case- they need to clearly state “as is”.All in all, we will never purchase from them again, I will be reporting them to the BBB, and will be actively contacting media to expose the scam like behaviour of this company.We will see if we get a response for Encore Auctions.

Updated Review-Returned my earbuds more than a month ago which was not working. Still haven’t received any refund.Very poor service.Shipping department has no contact number , Takes so long to get reply back from them on email.Shipping team has still not replied to my email it’s been more than 2 months now.No return has been credited to my account yet.Please guys report this company if you are having the same problem . They can’t steal people’s money like that.Reply to the encore team -My purchase was over 100$ and the product was not working at all. I have read all the terms and conditions and i have purchased many products from the auctions, it was all good until i came myself and pick the items. But things were changed when i got it shipped to my house and the item was not working and i returned in the given period of time. But the customer service is very poor. I met all the requirements for the refund. But here i am still waiting for it from 1.5 months.

I won a food container for dog food, and a raised dog bed and they sent me a child’s car seat and solar lights that are completely rusted. It’s taken almost a month to have them figure out where my items are and what to do with these items they sent. I had to pay $94.94 CAD for shipping a heavy item I didn’t even buy.(car seat) they also have sent me damaged items that says new not used or sealed box….. you can tell the box’s were opened and resealed and often missing parts.Update:They expected me to pay to ship it back… Then wait for a refund if they can’t find my items. Well they haven’t been found for over a month so I will be keeping the items that were wrongfully sent. Don’t buy from this auction. Waist of money and time I added the picture of the ruined and rusty lights they sold as working and new…… they don’t even charge.

This place is a total scam. They misrepresented a Lego set that I bought with shipping for over 300$. It was marked as Final sale but the ad displayed 2 stock photos making it seem as though it was the full set. I instead received boxes of random Lego and the same day I received it they added more pictures on the website showing the inside of the boxes which were not there at the time of purchase. They will not accept a refund even though they misrepresented the product. Will be reporting to the BBB.

Never buy anything from them. They sell defective products knowingly.I bought an under the desk redliro treadmil for 180. Its belt was not moving, it was such an inconvenience to pick that up and return it back. They took the machine and after more than 2 weeks I am still waiting for refund. Everytime I call they make excuses. This business is not following Canadian consumer right practices. Please report this business to consumer court online. So that people don’t lose their money and time

I have come to pick up things on different days, with different times. Be prepared to wait. Things I suggest you can do while waiting; 1000 piece puzzle, rebuild a classic car, heart surgery, start and finish that 4 year degree you never had time for. Product is good 8/10 times though. So that’s good!

Horrible auction to deal with.If you decide to pick up your item in person, expect at least a minimum 1-2 hour wait time.If you decide to have your item shipped, be prepared the items are probably the wrong items shipped.The shipping department doesn't have any direct line to reach them, so trying to correct any problems basically either takes forever or it doesn't happen.The amount of buyers premium, plus additional handling charges per item, you would expect better service, proper item descriptions, items in at least decent condition (many times, items are broken, missing pieces, not even the real item).Wont be dealing with this Auction again in future. They use to be good, not anymore.

I won a lot and in the rules it is said that you have to send a message if you want to order shipping within 2 days. I sent about 10 messages and I just got several automatic replies that I will be contacted by agent soon. I cannot call, I only can send a message but nobody alive reply me. I live quite far from auction and I cannot come. Please give me reply that my item will be shipped and give me time when! My lot is LOT # : 2042 - 10K BTU TOSOT PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER
