A unique restaurant, with its focus on plant-based food. They offer a wide variety of smoothies, dishes and desserts. We tried the BLT (coconut bacon!) and the Thai curry on rice. Both were good but the curry dish was scant on sauce and rice, and very long on lettuce.

Came across this restaurant completely by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful contemporary decor. Had the coconut bacon wrap which was suggested by the owner and it was excellent. Also tried the oat fudge bar, which was delicious!Look forward to returning with my (carnivore eating) husband.

I will think about the cashew cream avo toast for the rest of my life, it was SO good. I could not fault anything we had (Waffles, Avo Toast, BLT, coffee and smoothies!). All of the food was so fresh and flavourful. The staff were all so kind and the cafe is beautifully set up and well air conditioned. This is our new favourite place that we have eaten in Canada so far, highly recommend coming here!

We love their attention to their customers.They make it very comfortable and accommodating. I was running late and couldn’t go back home to conduct my interview, so I did it there. The owner asked me if he can lower the music, and I told him not necessary, but thank you. He did anyway and it was perfect and helped me out a bunch.Always love their food too.

The new management is phenomenal, they really make an effort to get to know their patrons and are very genuine. The food is ALWAYS a hit and their drinks are very well crafted. This is a great environment for coffee/lunch dates and super welcoming. I can't stop bringing my friends here. Faves are: chocolate mint smoothie, chai latte, chipotle taco, green curry stew (pickle soup when its available), and the BLT.

It was our first time trying kb&co and it was a great experience. From the calm and cool ambiance, playing great music in the background to the simple, clean decor, and welcoming owners… it really sat well with us.Their menu is clean conscious, and plant based. I ordered the chocolate chip mint smoothie and chipotle taco salad and my partner got the hemp hustler and coconut blt sandwich. As we sat and waited for our order, a line quickly formed- they were busy!Both smoothies had vanilla protein powder included and they are tasty!!! Chocolate chip mint tasted like a treat and the hemp hustler was earthy and refreshing.Okay, food is amazing! My partner is a carnivore so he thought plant forward food wouldn’t hit the spot….well, kb&co proved him wrong! He was pleasantly surprised at first bite, I also had a bite of his coconut blt and it is unreal! Everything just melded together for the perfect bite! I really enjoyed the portion of the taco salad, it’s huge! Ingredients are super fresh and we just felt good eating here. Food packed with micronutrients, layered with dynamic flavours - you really can’t go wrong!The owners were working hard as they were short staffed but still took the time to check on us and ask how everything was! Now this is a good business.Jess and Ryan have been the new owners since November 2022 bringing health conscious, and extremely tasty food to YYC! Pop by and say hello! We’ll definitely be back.

Very clean and aesthetically pleasing store, wonderful staff and great vibe as soon as you enter.Only reason I’m rating a two star instead of anything higher, are the prices.Absolutely not worth the price tags for everything I tried, quality of the ingredients are definitely fresh however very very steep price tag for what you actually get.Not worth it all in my professional reviewing and eating opinion.I would rather go to anywhere else with the same concept and have fairer prices.

Maybe it's just my luck, but I've gone in on three separate occasions to try the Berry Oxidant smoothie and they've been out of acai each time. Other smoothies, coffee, and avocado toast are all fine, but on the pricier side for what they are. To be fair though, it's tough (although not impossible) to find places that offer avocado toast under $10, so in that regard it's not bad. Haven't tried any sandwiches yet. Staff are always friendly.If you aren't worried about budget, are looking for healthy options, and are in the area, it's worth checking out.
