Kiwanis Outdoor Pool

I'd give it 5 stars but COVID closed the slide. Not the fault of the friendly staff at all.Large outdoor pool right beside Stan Wadlow park. COVID protocols mean less people in the pool, which I love. Since it's first-come-first-in, I reco being in line 20 mins before the hour at the latest.

Kids have fun every time we go.

Very big pool for whole the family and there is slide for kids and also adults use itit's cozy and not crowded in weekdays

This neighbourhood community pool is large and well maintained, and ideal for individuals and families. Snacks and drinks are available in a nearby food stand with friendly service.

I take my grandson there every day . The life guards are great and nice and friendly and strict when they have to be lol lol. The pool is always clean and the life guards are always ready to jump in and safe a life. Its been a wonderful summer. Too bad we don’t have Florida weather lol lol. It is a fun spot for the whole family and people of all ages. The pool is very large and well staffed with lifeguards and other City staff on hand to manage crowds and the change rooms. There is also a shaded area around the pool along with a few benches for those that want to lounge poolside but not actually get into the water.

Kiwanis pool is a good location to go to in order to cool off during the heat wave. It's both kid friendly well maintained, with easy accessible parking nearby. (The parking will change once the modular housing is placed nearby but until then, the parking is right across a street)Being located right next to a school and a hockey arena, the area is very well maintained and has several factors in place to prevent people from speeding on by with cars. Getting inside is simply a matter of either preregistering beforehand or waiting outside the front door.With the situation regarding covid, I would recommend preregistering to get access to the pool as everyone is told to get out every 45 minutes or so because of procedure. Because of this, there can end up being a huge line outside that might not be fun for the kids to wait in if you intent on bringing them. Aside from that little snag that may occur, the location is wonderful and the staff are friendly and attentive to the pool goers safety.I recommend trying out the slide if you have never gone before.

I had a dream here… it was the middle of a sunny day, but the sky was black. I was the only one in the pool. Around the fence, creatures of all sorts stared in, waiting for me to drown. I came here in real life, and the place was beautiful, and nothing like the dream. I hope to never ever see those creatures again
