Ignore the silly reviewer saying that you should find a rescue rather than go to a shelter. Many rescues are for profit—essentially the used car dealerships of the pet world. SPCA is a proper non-profit, with only the animals' interests in mind.Niagara SPCA were wonderfully helpful when we recently adopted Slim (now Murray). They have a nice big dog run, where you can get to know a pup. They sent us home with lots of extra food, a cone for his neuter in incision, and extra meds, and wwere just generally lovely the whole way through.

Shame on you SPCA for not doing your job right at Marineland you should investigated a lot better and you didn't you decide to turn your cheek and at a blind eye

Good park out front - haven’t had the indoor services yet, however this one they provide out is phenomenal

Just a little note to say Thank you. We adopted Our baby boy Moon" from you Feb.27/15. I am so glad we had the time with him. He was an older cat with a heart murmur and nobody wanted him. I DID. He gave us so much love and enjoyment. He was finally laid to rest on Feb. 4/2022. He is so greatly missed

They love to try enforce animal bylaws meanwhile a couple of their own staff that reside in the city are over the limit. Love to respond to anonymous complaints and like to darken your doorstep enough times it's considered harassment.They also pick and choose who they enforce bylaws on. My neighbour has 7 cats but they didn't care only tried to come after mine even with them being grandfathered in. Changed the bylaw then tried to come at me. My ex friend knows Bill and when he showed up at his house for an unlicensed dog he saw it was his friend and said I'll just put there's no dog here (Zack Campeau)How do these people sleep at night? I asked Bill Ashcroft that but he didn't seem to want to answer as I asked him to not come onto my property again.They say they're in it for the animals but yet they have zero problems trying to rip animals that are cared for away from their owners.Double standards. I fought to keep mine. They don't need anymore negative media attention. Bill needs to retire and find a hobby.

I wanted to thank all the staff that assisted and interacted in the process with my adoption for my new cat Pete on Thursday March 2. All your kindness was very much appreciated. Pete is very special as you all mentioned with lots of personality and he has settled in so quickly into his new home with my other two cats. It was seamless. First time there yesterday and was so impressed with how clean and well-kept the grounds were. Great spot for your fur family! They got a tap for them to drink water. It's located ins SPCA Area.The paved path through well-kept grass, and benches. Separate area for small dogs. Lots of parking. The only downside is that it's on the edge of town, so it was quiet, at least when we visited it.It's located near the beautiful river and a trail. Niagara definitely needs more parks like this, especially in the city center.It's close to Niagara Falls. So whenever we visit there. We make sure to stop at Bark Park. As my dog loves this spot. She is always so happy here. It is clean and empty.Good safe environment for dogs to play and socialize.Big park got puddle so dogs usually get muddy but small park is always clean

They do the best to make all the animals happy ❤️
