Dr. Tumi is wonderful. He is honest and kind and makes you feel comfortable. He takes the time to talk you through procedures and is realistic about the outcome. He performs amazing work. He is not pushy about surgeries (like other surgeons I have gone to see) and is honest if he believes a surgery is not necessary or needed. His staff is wonderful and they make you feel at home and welcomed. Their new office is so clean and beautiful and high class. I will continue to be a patient there for anything I get done in the future. I highly recommend this clinic ! 5 stars all the way !!!!!

Karyn and Dr. Tumi really care about their patients. I came to see Dr. Tumi for Lyposuction, but because of a health concern he said no... even though I was paying out of pocket. So It was recommended I try Cool Scultping and it has worked wonderfully and non invasive.Think about it.. Lypo would have been double the revenue for the clinic.. and the answer was no for my safety..So they are not selling you a bill of goods, truly caring meant that I had to take a different path, and that is just fine, and thousands cheaper.Go with who you know.. and Dr. Tumi and Karyn are the best!

Thank you Dr.Tumi and Karyn,I came into Barrie Plastic upon a referral from a family member as I have been struggling with acne on my face for the better part of a year. As a young man, I never expected that somewhere like Barrie Plastic Surgery would have something for me - I figured it was not tailored to my needs. I was wrong. Tumi and Karyn were amazing and after our consultation, they recommended I try Morpheus8 as a treatment. I have now finished 3 Morpheus8 treatments, and my face is looking and feeling much better. My skin texture is much more smooth, my acne scars are dramatically reduced, new acne breakouts are much less often and if they do breakout, they are much smaller PLUS my overall skin brightness is much better. I must say, all of my expectations were surpassed using Morpheus8, and I would totally recommend to anyone struggling with acne to consider using this treatment as I have seen great results.Thank you BPS.

To all woman, I’m advocating for you! Be warned about this “high class, very skilled, community driven, volunteers in other countries” plastic surgeon. He likes to toot his own horn in his bio and make you feel like you are worth something. But the true Dr. Tumi is a classless, degrading and ruthless human being. He will make you feel worthless, ashamed and less then when you see him. He should be taking classes in basic humanity and learning how to treat women with kindness, respect, dignity and encouragement. DO NOT WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME AND MONEY ON HIM, he doesn’t deserve to be graced with your presence. Save your soul because he will destroy it in a matter of minutes. If there was a zero rating, he would be it, worth absolutely nothing.

I had a great experience here! I had a laser appointment and I have had laser before. It has been 6 weeks and after one session I have had almost no hair come back! It’s totally worth it. Karyn is amazing and I can’t recommend this place more!

I had my first consultation with Dr. Tumi, and he was beyond fabulous. From the jump, he shook my hand and introduced himself to my daughter and I. He included her in the conversation and even had some laughs with her. This made the situation alot less vulnerable given the reason I was there.He is the second surgeon that I have met with, and wasn't going to be my last, until I decided he was the last. It is because of his honesty, integrity, authenticity and professionalism, that made my choice. I saw some comments in the reviews where people stated he made them feel uncomfortable while getting undressed and for me that did not happen. He was respectful of my space and was sure I was covered appropriately. I went to see him for a breat augmentation and tummy tuck, and Dr. Tumi did not think an augmentation would be required. I really appreciated that about him, because the first surgeon I met, insisted this procedure, despite me only wanting a lift with fat transfer. This is a huge cost savings for me, and more natural for my body type, which speaks to his morality, in my opinion. Dr. Tumi did not make me feel rushed with any questions and time was not ever an issue for him. He wanted to be sure I knew all that I needed. His office manager Karyn, was absolutely wonderful and easy to connect with. She took her time to discuss things that I did not think of and even called me over the weekend when I emailed her some more questions. This is above and beyond care. My surgery is April 20th and I know I am in good hands. I will follow this up with further reviews in the future and have no doubt it will be 5 stars across the board.One last thing... of all the reviews, I paid attention to the ones where the patients actually had surgery, not the ones who were disgruntled about the office staff or OHIP issues. After all, it is the surgeon we want precision with, isn't it?Thanks Karyn and Dr. Tumi, for making me comfortable and content.

Dr. Tumi is truly an amazing person inside and out. He shows so much care for his patients and will go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied. His thorough experience and attention to detail makes you feel so comfortable, ensuring you are not leaving with unanswered questions.The office staff are also wonderful and knowledgeable in making sure you receive the best possible care. From the initial consultation to the after care follow ups, the staff are lovely to deal with.I would highly recommend BPS. Hello, Dr. Tumi, Karyn and Christina are amazing - class act!I never was made to wait. And if ever I needed to contact him or his staff, they were super speedy in responding by my inquiries. The new office on Mapleview is inviting and his beautiful staff members are friendly and helpful in every way. For my corrective eye surgery, Dr. Tumi and staff ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I was so very nervous in general about surgery and both Dr. Tumi and Karyn listened to my concerns and helped me feel at ease. I can't imagine going to any one else.
