Gourmet Restaurant
Was looking for something to take for my lunch at work decided to try Gourmet Restaurant and grab a clubhouse and fries and gravy. The staff was super friendly and on point as soon as I walked in! The service was fast and my food was ready quick!!

Service has definitely went downhill lately. Order a special, ask for soup and you don’t get. Multiple times the cups they give you have been dirty (food stuck in the inside & left feeling “crusty”) Found portions getting a bit smaller and last 2 times they have messed up my order, servers don’t acknowledge being waved down to be told about issue. When you finally get someone’s attention they go to the kitchen where you can see the cooks get mad and throw bottles of mayo or dressing. Unbelievable.. used to be a great spot to eat.

Apparently under new management for about a year now. Requested new silverware as the fork had something ( maybe dried egg) stuck to it- ok it happens. Table had to be rewiped down - it happens. Strike 3 - the meat on the clubhouse was dried out and had brown spots on it. Having said that- the waitress was friendly and we weren’t charged for the clubhouse.

I enjoyed most of my Hungry Man breakfast - except for the ham." It was a fried piece of poor quality bologna. Everything else was great. Service was exceptional. My meal arrived in record time. I really enjoyed the coffee as well.I found the price to be ridiculous - I paid $18.95 for my meal

Was always a go to place but since I'm only in town to visit the folks my 2 visits in the last 3 days was no where, what it used to be. Saturday I got a gourmet special pizza and was over cooked. Today I got a hungry man breakfast and the bacon was hard, the ham was luke warm, the sausages were black and the deep fried hash brown potatoes were soggy. I dont know what has happened here but it's not what it used to be to have 2 meals in a weekend a disappointment. Its actually heart-breaking to see a favorite place growing up, being like this.

Ordered scrambled eggs, pemeal bacon and tomatoes slices.Asked for my eggs not to be cooked like an omlette ,but to be properly scrambled( I recieved a sliced up omlette , that was not cooked inside) .Our tomato slices were rotten .And I had to clean some nasty tasting brown stuff off my peameal bacon.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!old and run down , waitress had the personality of a door handle ( could care less attitude)
