I got the mixed box which had taro, custard, nutella, and mochi. The staff was very friendly and she gave me an extra one to try out their new red bean flavor. But sadly, they looked much better than they tasted. The nutella and red bean was too sweet for me. Still a pretty decent dessert because they look so cute but taste-wise, just like regular pancakes.

The egg yaki is super cute. Each one has emoji faces on them and I recommend getting the assorted mix of half a dozen so you can try the different flavours. Tried the taro, mochi, and custard and all were good.The egg yaki is on the softer and perhaps soggier side opposed to taiyaki in Japan which is more crispy on the outside than in this case which is squishy. Would taste even better if it was a crispy outside and soft inside. Also, if their customers want to hang out, if they had a washroom for customers, that would be even better too or even a sink to wash their hands before eating.

Came here for the Eggyaki. Servers were super friendly but this place is still super popular. Customers wait outside before opening and there’s usually about an hour wait to get your order. Drinks come right away though. We got our drinks and took a walk before they texted us to pick up the Eggyaki. We got a box each of the custard and mochi flavours. It was good - although I think it’s be better if the outsides were more crispy. The presentation was top notch. Even without the egg carton boxes - which I’m sure would make it even more adorable. Very cute snacks. Would be happy to try again once the crazy lines have died down.Totoro approved!

Guulu is an adorable spot for an after dinner treat! Came here to try their eggyaki and selection of drinks on a Friday night. It wasn’t busy when we arrived at around 8:30pm.Eggyaki is basically a taiyaki, but shaped as an egg. The dough tastes the same as what a traditional taiyaki would. They currently have a small selection of fillings but are looking to add more. We tried custard, taro, mochi, and Nutella, but liked custard the most. None of the flavours were overwhelmingly sweet at all.For drinks, we tried The Bubble Tea and Orange Sunset. Unfortunately The Bubble Tea tasted watered down and under sweetened, the pearls a bit overcooked. Orange Sunset, however, was very refreshing and flavourful! I’m still curious to try their other drinks so will definitely give them another go.I’m looking forward to more flavours of Eggyaki- hopefully they add red bean, black sesame, matcha custard - those would be super yummy in their batter!

Quite a wait but they did mention that before ordering. The place itself does not have much ventilation. Recommend ordering the mix pack to try each flavor and eat them while it is hot. I personally love the mochi and so does my daughter.

These are really cute, almost too cute to eat. I tried all the flavours and the best was nutella. The other flavours were subtle which was fine but too little filling that it’s hard to taste.They do make it per order so it does take time. Would not recommend if you are in a hurry and order in store.

The eggyakis were adorable, and I love that they came in an egg carton! But taste-wise it was a bit disappointing, and the inside was too mushy for my liking. The drinks however were good, and the staff was really friendly.

Went for the eggyaki but will come back for the drinks.The eggyaki were good, just not impressive. But the drink was really good and satisfying. I got the strawberry dafu and now I want to taste everything

all the staff are super nice!!!! came right around closing and they weren’t trying to rush me out at all. they were out of mochi for a drink but had no problem adding extra ingredients as a substitute! come here, buy drinks, and tip these nice people!everything was super tasty too!
