Had my anniversary dinner here and it was a superb experience!Great, filling food and wonderful customer service made it a memorable dining event.Highly recommended for intimate or group based events!

We took a guess on the quality of this wonderful tavern restaurant and were greatly surprised at the quality of food and the wait staff. We ordered the turkey BLT and not only was it fresh but the turkey was outstanding. We also had the sweet potato wedges and they were superb as well. It’s a great place.

More like a 3.5/5Staff were very attentive and so friendly! We came in on a Wednesday evening, and were seated within 3-4 minutes. However, while I appreciate it’s downtown Toronto and that real estate is a … challenge - my friend and I were absolutely packed into the tiniest section of the restaurant. Even as we left, my chair was so tightly pressed another chair, I had to literally move that chair from my seat just to get out.My friend enjoyed their chicken pot pie, but my spicy fried chicken sandwich (while beautiful), was a miss for me. It was a bit soggy, which meant the bottom bun completely disintegrated. The flavour was barely there.Overall, it was kinda hit or miss, but maybe it would’ve all been worth it if I ordered something different.

This is the second time I'm visiting this place. I liked the vibe and ambience of the place. Usually busy on weekends but you get a table quickly. They also have bar sittings where you can watch the sport playing. The server was very nice and sweet too.

Ate outside after a full day of walking and exploring. The food was excellent, service too. I loved the peace on the patio but you could still hear the music. Made for a very nice evening. Ordered a turkey club, and fish and chips. Both tasted great.

Been there twice to this British dining resturant and I must say, their food and ambience is pretty good. I loved the chicken pot pie and the sweet potato wedges the most, as they were properly done and not overcooked.Also, its location is a plus as it is in a quiet neighbourhood and right next to the subway station. They have seating indoors as well as a front and back patio. A good place to experience some good food!

Ordered haddock fish (very bland, unsalted) and coconut shrimp curry (very spicy with no depth in favour, bland, 5 small pieces of shrimp). They had two options for virgin cocktails- spiced maple mule was spicy and flavourful and Blackberry and Elderflower lemonade (super tart but nice flavours). Prices were expensive considering the quality of food, but the ambiance was nice, esp for a big group gathering.

We went here to have some drinks and dinner. The beer selection is ok, for food we asked hamburgers they were ok as well, nothing out of world but works with our drinks,my friends asked for the chicken pie and they said was delicious. Next time I will try that

Visited this place after work. The butter shrimp and chicken are to die for. Received an extra serving of shrimp without questions asked. Luke, our server, is as great as they come. Super attentive and cared genuinely. Grant gifted us special stella goblets since we couldn't buy one off the bar. GRANT IS A GEM. ❤️ THANK YOU DOY FOR THE UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE.

I stopped in after visiting the Museum. I really enjoyed the homemade hummus and local cider on tap. Sitting outside was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice afternoon.
