I've been going to baptist churches since I was saved (16 years).Recently I was made homeless and I'm staying at a shelter in the area. It's pretty depressing and I'm leaning in a spiritual messy placeOne way I find that time passes for me is to sing hymns of praises and thanks giving. I went by the church today and ran into the Sr. Pastor. I asked him if he could loan or spare me a hymnal so I can sing and pass time and he flat out refused.I'm sure their theology is a mile wide, but it only looks like it's an inch deep. #justsayingSo there you have it folks.

After moving by myself to Canada from Spain, I have not felt more welcomed and loved by a church than West Toronto Baptist. Pastor Justin and Alisha have made me feel very appreciated and the extremely warm, friendly community helped heal my homesickness by making me a part of a family. I believe Jesus is all about loving one another and being part of a life bigger than just ourselves, which is what I believe West Toronto Baptist do brilliantly.
