Amazing experience! Great place to go kayaking! Going through the lift locks in a kayak is something we have always wanted to do and was very cool! Very friendly and convenient service! We will be back for sure :)

We had a fantastic time kayaking through the liftlocks! We actually had no idea lift locks were even a thing (we are from the city) so when we discovered this was what we had signed up for, we were amazed!! There is also a huge fountain in the middle of the lake which was so refreshing to go through! We were honestly just expecting a gentle kayak route so this adventure totally exceeded our expectations haha. Owners are super friendly and we appreciate them accommodating us! Highly recommend you check this out if you're in the area!

Taryn was amazing from the start! She happily took our reservation and even followed up to provide us with Liftlock information that may have changed our schedule. She met us bright and early at the boat launch and was very patient as we got our stuff together. She told us about the different routes we could take and even called the locks to make sure they were ready for us! Setup and return were quick and easy. I can't wait to do this again.

Fantastic little company! I called at 11am and we were able to rent two kayaks for 1pm-3pm. It was so fun paddling in Little Lake. Super friendly service and prompt drop off / pickup. Definitely account for finding a parking spot at Beavermead though if it's a nice day, we got the last spot! I'd recommend this company to anyone and we'll definitely use them again next time we need a rental.

We enjoyed our last minute booking with Liftlock Paddle Co. When the weather looked like it was turning, the owner reached out to bring up our reservation time, which we really appreciated. Great gear, great company. And the Peterborough Lift Lock is a marvel of engineering! Highly recommend Liftlock Paddle Co.

I've rented kayak and water boards 3 times and has been a great experience.My only suggestion is leaving a gap inbetween rentals as it feels super rushed when someone is booked to start the same time you need to finish. If the current is strong or if you get stuck it takes longer to get back.

Let's get the story accurate here. Rude Liftlock paddle reservation agent, laughs hysterically while on the phone, busy doing everything but attending to a potential customer and then making excuses for her poor service.My only error was trying to call the number listed on the website, only to be told to text the reservation as the agent laughed off the call and then followed up with a speedy text back hours later! That's what I call fantastic service! For a customer oriented company, sad that they can't even take down a simple reservation.
