Beacon Bible Camp

Lovely place. Great friends. Very good food. Good accommodations.

So, I entered the senior girls' first year, and wow, I was not an outdoor person at all, and I was really shy before entering, and now, I got more connected with Jesus and I really had fun there, despite me being an indoor person, and as soon as I got there, I felt at home, safe, and I was not shy, AT ALL. Plus, the tuck shop times are great. Now that I'm at home, I miss Beacon Bible Camp so much that I repeatedly draw the area! Well done, Beacon!

My son attended last year for the first time ever at a camp and he absolutely felt loved and cared for. He is registered again for this summer and is bringing with him 5 of his school friends!!!

It was fun, cool equipment in the lake for swimming. The games and activities were so fun.- J age 9I found the staff friendly and welcoming. Putting a mom of a first time alone camper at ease. When picking up my son though he was excited to see me I could see how comfortable and confident he was with his cabin leader and those he spent the week with convinced me that this was the best choice for us.

I have been to Beacon three years as a camper and loved it, did the FLIGHT staff training program and loved it, went as staff for junior boys and.....wait for it..... I Loved that part too! It has a very nice set up with lots of trees and great facilities, it seems each time I go back they have a new fun thing for me to try. When I was a camper I had great counselors, they were very down to earth and willing to have tons of fun while teaching me how to grow in my relationship with the Lord. Each year I look forward to going back to Beacon. I highly highly recommend this camp

We have had the blessing to experience several camps at Beacon - Mother-Daughter, Junior Girls, Beacon Unlimited (online program during summer 2020) and Family Camp. There are sooooo many good things to say about Beacon!As a parent considering Beacon, you can rest assured that:* the staff are engaged with the campers, well trained, and are very clearly passionate about their work.* The programming is well organized, age appropriate, and engaging for your camper.* The care for the safety and well being of campers is clearly demonstrated., and is at the forefront of all activities* The Biblical teaching is well thought out, and respectful of the fact that Beacon campers come from a variety of denominations.*your camper will be made to feel welcome, and that the staff will honour them and treat them with care and respect*your child will be well fed while they're at camp. there will be no complaining about camp food" when your camper gets home!This is a fantastic camp that is well run

Our children have attended a different Muskoka camp for five years, and we were only introduced to Beacon through friends this year. We love this camp! The camp grounds are beautiful; facilities and meals are excellent; the staff are genuine and eager to help; it is very well run and organized; and the teaching goes beyond the basics to deeper discipleship, which is important to us, and our girls, and something that we have been looking for. We are blessed to have found this little gem.

Beacon is a lovely camp. The Leadership is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful and well kept and most importantly the Bible is taught well. We have enjoyed Family Camp, Mother/Daughter weekends, Kids camp and more. I feel safe leaving my children in their care.

Top notch Christ-centred camp. I have attended family camp as a parent, Mother-daughter camp and sent all 4 of my children to the various camps, and am now sending my grandchildren. Great experiences, and wholesome, fresh and nutritious meals.
