Peloton - Edmonton

Hannah at West Ed is simply amazing! Her customer service is world class. She is incredibly friendly and helpful! She answered all of my questions!I have the OG Peloton Bike and have had the Peloton Treadmill on my wish list for awhile. I sold my SOLE treadmill and finally purchased the Peloton Treadmill. Hannah made the process super smooth & told me what to expect on delivery day.I was in Vegas a few weeks ago & tried out my friends Peloton Rower & it was amazing! I really hope it comes to Canada. We recently visited the Peloton showroom at WEM to request assistance with adjustments and fittings on our new Peloton bike. Both Shanda and Patrick were very helpful in providing expert direction and demonstration for what to do. We also learned about a huge variety of classes and programs available on the Peloton App and with a subscription.It was very interesting to learn that when traveling in other cities, the Peloton showroom is accessible for Peloton members to complete a work out (and shower!) in a private room.There are definitely advantages to personal shopping in a Peloton showroom compared to online shopping. Shanda and Patrick were both very approachable, friendly and were able to readily address our questions and concerns.

I had an impromptu stop in today as I recently moved and had to put my bike back together. The two guys that helped me not only showed me how to put my bike back together properly but provided me with online resources and sent me home with tools to do so. They also gave me great information on other products that I was interested in. These guys were absolutely incredible to chat with and went above and beyond. I wish I would have grabbed their names but I just wanted to write this as an extra thank-you, you guys are the pinnacle of customer service and I wish you both the best.

We are moving and needed to organize our Peleton bike and treadmill equipment disessmebly. Hannah at the local Edmonton store significantly helped me navigate this process. She went above and beyond to help me organize this through Peleton's process including adhering to their policies and procedures with respect to moving. Peleton is lucky to have this type of individual behind their brand as she defines excellence in customer service!

Being overweight most all of my life I was a little intimidated to look for workout equipment, but I love cycling and the Peloton commercials really caught my eye. We happen to be in Edmonton and decided to check out the store right before it closed. It was end of the day and despite that we were warmly welcomed into the store by Shanda. She graciously explained the bike, the various accessories and of course the pricing. We had heard Peloton bikes were expensive but as Shanda spoke about the product she showed us the value we'd get from Peloton and it's the value we needed to see. The simpler any workoitt routine is the more likely I will use it. I could have gone with another bike and just got the subscription to the Peloton classes but having the actual bike just made more sense for us. As all the stores were closing around us, Shanda stayed late for us, providing one on one service or coaching that went above ad beyond. We left the store with making the purchase because I really wanted to think about the likelihood of us actually using the bike. We got back home, fell into our routine, and the chaos of home renovations and I ignored the email from Peloton, but I never forgot about the bike or Shanda, both left an impression. I received a follow-up call from Shanda, there was no pressure, just touching base. I don't shop online, so when I called into the store, my order was processed over the phone. I appreciated being met where I was at in terms of my fitness level and my desire to speak with a live person to finalize everything rather than doing it online. We are looking forward to the delivery of our bike on the 13th. Thank you Shanda, you are the reason we purchased a Peloton bike and accessories, but not once did I feel like we were being sold anything, rather we were being shown the features and benefits of a product that the associate truly believes in. I plan on going into the store in the summer of 2023 to show off my new Peloton body.

UPDATE!!!I went into the Peloton store in Edmonton and Hannah helped me. She was phenomenal!She recognized my story right away as the review I posted and listened to me, explained what had happened and made sure to rectify the situation. She had me call directly from the store just in case the person on the phone was giving me misinformation (as before) and has checked in with me to make sure I was offered a credit. I would highly recommend going into the stores and talking to an associate versus buying online as they WILL be able to help you and you will not have the initial issue I had. Great service in person!ORIGINAL STORY BELOW:My husband bought me a Peloton for Valentine's Day. He had NO CLUE about the referral process. It's a code that anyone you know who has purchased a peloton can give you to receive $125 credit towards accessories. We found out about it after he gave me the card that he purchased it. Even though we are in our 30 day trial, Peloton would NOT honour the code. They said we can return everything and then re-buy and use the code. Does that make any sense to you!!! The cost to hire a company to pick up the bike and then reorder and deliver is WAYYYY more than just honouring the code in your 30 day trial. There is no customer service desk to make a complaint, I was told to write a google review! So spread this like wildfire. Make sure everyone and anyone who chooses to buy Peloton gets their $125 referral code! Talk about just wanting to make money. Not only did the sales associates not mention it, but my husband said there was not even a place online (that he noticed) to put a code....so how would you ever get the credit?!?!

Dealt with store over the phone as I live in the north and unable to attend in person. Salesperson and management were very accommodating and great to work with, especially given the logistics. Bike arrived quick. Very pleased with the purchase (OG Bike). Would recommend.

Hannah was amazing! Easy to talk to. Down to earth. Thorough in her explanations of the products and how they work. Very casual, comfortable and relatable in her sales approach. Thank you.

The staff are amazing and have gone above and beyond for me. I suggest buying your products in store to get the extra support and customer care I received. Hueyy, Aaron, and the whole team have been great. Love my bike+ too.
