Informative and professional when I called for an epoxy estimate for my company

In 2020 just over 1 year after my garage floor was completed by Diamond Coating, I noticed a couple of wet spots on the garage floor. Looking closer I found yellow liquid oozing up through the floor and the epoxy surrounding the wet spots was hollow and loose.Due to the early stages of the pandemic, I was unable to contact Diamond Coating. Finally, and after many attempts, I spoke with Mathieu in 2021 who promised to look into the issue but never did. After months of him avoiding my calls and messages, I reported the issue with BBB. That is when I received an email from Mathieu in September 2021 who promised to once again look into the issue once the place warmed up - in 2022. Come 2022 nothing changed, Mathieu continue to ignore my calls and messages - it was a repeat of the last year, calls were not returned and emails just ignored, until I finally I managed to get through to Mathieu. He was quite abrupt and went on to inform me that the problem is to do with “hydrostatic” and to fix the problem I had to rip up the entire garage floor and redo it all over again – AT MY COST! I asked the company to cover some of the costs since it is a relatively new project and I have not heard back from them– that was almost three months ago. Funny this company think I would spend more money on their product that failed to live up to their promise the first time!Presently, the damaged area is brittle which now have a 1-inch hole on it. Pay attention to your contract. My stated the concrete floor will be tested for moisture and that it should not exceed 4% moisture vapor pressure (MVP)– I don’t recall this test being conducted nor getting the results as this would have been one way to inform me of future potential moisture problem.Buyer be aware. Do your research – there are companies with better track records out there just look beyond the Google honeymoon reviews and save yourself the frustration of dealing with Diamond Coating.If you decide to go with this company, then you should be aware of what to expect if there's a problem.

Please reconsider before working with this company. There is a guy who works there named Mathieu and he is a complete scam artist! Having dealt with him I will never work with Diamond Coating again. He will play stupid until money is involved then suddenly he's all about accuracy. Not the type of person that should be running a company. I honestly couldn't believe that the owner of the business had such issues with communication.
