Really great food there. The service is amazing and make you laugh all the time. Since we went on fathers day, it was busy and I suggest you go at less busy times like the weekdays. The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 is the seaweed was really hard and tough. Seaweed is supposed to be hard but really crunchy. Overall this was a great place and would go back.

The tempura had 0 taste.The sushi was not cold, it was warm.The rice was very soggy.And the sushi with the seaweed was very hard to chew and you couldn’t swallow it, felt like throwing up. Food was inedible, stay away from this branch!!!!!

Good variety on the all you can eat menu...The sushi and sashimi was very fresh and the portions are large.Service was great and the staff was very friendly.Great decor and ambience.

After reading all the reviews , I placed a pick up order for my son's 16th birthday on 16th Jan and we clearly mentioned the staff that he has high allergic to peanuts and sesame. The sushi contained sesame seeds and my son had ordered for Teriyaki chicken rice. The teriyaki chicken rice was packed so BADLY and when we opened the bag, the food container was opened and food was spilled in the bag. We TRUTSED the restaurant and my son took couple of bites and right away had allergic reactions.My son noticed that the peanut with mirin sauce was in a plastic container and which was opened and was over the veges and chicken.This restaurant screwed up my son's and the entire families happiness in celebrating his 16th birthday.I tried calling next day 17th Jan to let them know what happened but due to snow storm the restaurant was closed and tried reaching out on Jan 18th and narrated what happened to the staff and posted the pics as well.Guess what the compensation was $30.00 ...... this is as a mother my stress compensation, what a joke and the restaurants DO NOT understand what a stress we go through, its a life threatening one.I would NOT recommend this kind of restaurants to people who have allergy issues. This is similar to an all you can eat buffet but everything is made fresh to order. So you choose from the menu and then it gets prepared and comes to the table. Staff are friendly and service is quick. When they first opened at this location I would give them 5 stars because the food was awesome. We been a fair number of times now and they are starting to lose their quality. A few items were not available that were on the menu like the clam chowder and smoke crab rolls. But still a good deal for a la carte. I will still go and fill up on my favorite escargot.Edit 2023 : Still a favorite for us. They have now adopted a digital ordering system. You now order from a tablet. Fairly straight forward and easy enough for most of us to use. Staff are very helpful if you have questions. If you are hungry and Love a variety, this place will not disappoint.

The food was good, but the servers were so busy they would just drop your stuff off and leave without eye contact. I've mostly gone for lunch before and after going for dinner, I can't say there's much of a reason to pay extra for it. But I definitely love the variety and sushi as a whole, just stick to lunch!

Had takeout sushi twice from this location. Seafood quality is decent, typical for a family restaurant in a province far from the ocean (I.e., ok, not great). Good value for money. They messed up the fried gyoza last time, undercooked and soggy. Restaurant interior is nice. Orders are pretty quick, usually about 20-25 mins. Friendly and courteous staff.

- The food/ taste was good in general but any chicken or beef fried was hard to bite and the edamame not cooked well- The service/ was good and they moved the empty dishes very fast, the waitress are nice- The price / for dinner was very expensive 39.99 plus tax, nothing special fir dinner time-The respond/ The are very slow and waiting for just approve what we order on tablet- The cleanliness / the restaurant very clean but the washroom have very bad smell

Spoon & Fork Plus has Japanese, Thai, and Italian food. The regular Spoon & Fork locations only have Japanese and Thai. The combination sounds a little weird, and it is.I personally don’t eat sushi - I went with a large group and they all said the sushi was very good and high quality. However, we all agreed that the sides and other dishes left a lot to be desired.The Japanese sides were very mediocre. The only one that stood out to me was the sweet and sour chicken. It had a good crunch and flavour. Most sides lacked strong notes of flavour. This was particularly true with the Thai dishes. We had ordered cashew nut chicken, mango chicken, and the basil chicken lettuce wraps and every item was a miss. None had that classic amazing flavour profile of Thai food. The worst item was their Bangkok pad Thai - it was definitely a western style recipe and tasted like sweet ketchup.The Italian food was also very okay. Truthfully, I found it an odd combination with the flavours of Asian cuisine.It was also quite expensive. My partner and I were charged $90 before tip and we only drank water. I’ve been to many all you can eats with just as large of a menu (and better quality) for less per person. I wouldn’t mind the price if the food was better.
