Catering by Rose

We had Rose cater our family Christmas dinner this year and it was delicious! Price was great, food was perfect, and she was very prompt with both her email responses and delivery of food.

Rose catered my grandson’s Baptismal Reception on July 17, 2022 at the Stonebridge Beach House for about 30 people. I had made all the arrangements with Rose and I was going to host the celebration but unfortunately was unable to attend because of COVID. I was really worried but under Rose’s leadership everything went smoothly and the feedback was outstanding. The venue was beautifully prepared, the food was very fresh and tasty, the quantity was plentiful, and the service was wonderful! Everyone raved about the antipasto and the variety of the delicious food. One friend, whose origins are from southern France, said she savored the delicious caponata saying that it reminded her of the ratatouille in Provence; and another friend from the UK said the roast beef was some of the best roast beef he had ever eaten. My brother recognized and delighted in the delicious and high quality Italian pastries that were supplied from a Bakery he makes the journey to frequent. Our sincere appreciation to Rose and her staff! My whole family highly recommend, without hesitation, this wonderful and professional catering company. We are so happy to have found them!

Green Haven Shelter for Women used Rose's catering services to provide delicious food at a recent appreciation event. Everyone raved about the pulled-pork sliders! I loved the variety of fruit and cheese skewers as well as the bruschetta and potato salad. Rose is very easy to work with and delivered the food to Orillia from Barrie. We will be using Rose's services again!

One word. AMAZING. I had a wedding back in January, and ordered from Catering by Rose, not only was the food a huge hit (polish and Italian families, big eaters), but I had guests there who normally hate sausages, eat the sausage dish Rose prepared, and were raving about how good it was. Not your typical catering, where the food almost seems bland, very flavourful, and Rose herself was very accommodating and easy to work with! If you're looking for a home cooked, hearty meal, order from Rose!

Rose absolutely crushed it for my wedding a few weeks ago. Easy to work with and offers honest advice and pricing. Somehow cooked and served food for 130 people and we had a power outage! Worked in the heat and did an amazing job. Thanks Rose!

The Christmas meal was a mess. The veggies were mush and the soup was cold and left a very bad after taste. The stuffing was in a steel bin on the floor. The only good thing I can say about meal was the apply blossoms. We certainly will not be ordering from here again. Very disappointed

Ordered turkey dinner for my family and it was so disappointing. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, the turkey was all pulled apart in tiny strips with no slices, the root veggies were awful, the dinner rolls were not fresh and to top it all off we got BEEF gravy for a turkey dinner. How embarrassing it was to serve this slop to my family. Apparently she feels that she was doing us a big favor (she was paid for the service) by taking our order and delivering it on Christmas Eve. Regardless the food was bland and was the worst Christmas dinner EVER. I see we were not alone.( see other review)Needless to say I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.
