The Fountainhead Pub
The patio is great for people watching on a sunny day. Neighbourhood pub with a variety of customers gay and straight. Food is better than average, lunch has 5 items for $8 each, including a half club sandwich with real chicken and bacon with choice of side. Brunch daily 11-2 prices around $11-15. Daily specials including soup and drink specials. Service is friendly and relaxed without being pretentious. Pool table and a bit cruisy after 9 pm.

Hi guys . I enjoy coming to your place.but your food quality has diminished. Service is polite and friendly so acceptable as a pub . Had lunch there recently sandwich and slaw and a coke 27$ add tip and well you see where I’m going. Sorry

We initially came here because Granville Brewery was celebrating the release of their new Sour Peach beer and we had two complimentary drinks. Ended up eating lunch here and the food is absolutely amazing. The philly dip already has so much succulent gravy that you don’t even feel the need to dip. If you do dip, you get this incredible flavorful bite. We were recommended to get the Cajun Chicken Clubhouse with only two slices of bread and that was such a great idea. The sandwich tastes like it’s loaded with ingredients. The soup of the day was tomato soup and it had such a nice consistency and was so fresh. I’m not a big drinker of beer but I was actually quite impressed with the peach sour. It had a nice flavor to it that makes it not as bitter as other beer. Would definitely recommend coming here. We had to wait about 15 min for a table because it’s patio dining only right now but the wait is totally worth it. The service is also top notch.Edit: We were recommended to get the dessert which I think was a cherry cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. It was so good! It’s not a heavy like New York Cheesecake. It s a soft, light cheesecake with what tasted like an Oreo crust. It was so good! And even though we were pretty full, it is actually a nice finisher to the meal. We split it between two people. The desserts rotate so it isn’t on the menu.

Good selection of local beers, great bartenders, and make sure you get the Cajun spice on your French fries. Makes a world of difference.

Horrible customer service, waiter refused to come to my table.Customers are snobby. Typical Vancouver.Update. I was there for about an hour, sitting at a table inside. I bought 2 drafts and a shot of tequila from the bar. I was alone.Regardless if your so called wait staff thought I started a tab at the bar or not, they should come to clear off empty glasses and see if they can sell anything else. I didn't start a tab. I bought my drinks and settled my bill. I was actually hungry and wanted to buy something to eat. I ended up going down the street to fresh slice pizza.The bar tender on duty was blue" and the wait staff was an older tiny person who loved serving every other person in your establishment except me

We went to the Fountainhead Pub in Vancouver during a relatively quiet night and found the atmosphere great. The bar staff at the time was attentive too who took our orders quickly after sitting at the bar. The bar staff know how to make a decent gin and tonic too so that’s a major plus for me! As a snack, we ordered the poutine, which was very tasty. Next time we’re in Vancouver, we’ll definitely visit Fountainhead Pub in Davie Street again!

What a welcoming, lovely bar in such a great location.Very quick and SUPER friendly service with witty banter from Luke. The beers were cold, brought in pitchers and the poutine was great. Thanks for a good night :)

Server was Luke. Had the Philly Hash. Amazing! Large portion, great service. What more could you ask for.
