This clinic is amazing! The staff were so friendly, and Dr. Whyte was very thorough, non-judgmental, and has a great sense of humour, so I felt very comfortable in everyone's care.

Good service, but the orthotics were much more expensive than what many insurance plans cover, so I had to pay several hundred dollars out of pocket. I highly recommend getting an estimate first and checking what the coverage limits are for your insurance plan before committing to orthotics. When you have the consultation at the clinic get an estimate first and compare it to your coverage limit before committing to the purchase.***EDIT: Thanks for your response. The staff and service at Barrhaven Foot Care & Orthotics was excellent and I highly recommend this place (hence the 4 stars). In my particular case an estimate wasn't provided and I'm sure it was just an honest miss. As the buyer it was my responsibility to double check, which I forgot to do. Not the store's fault at all. My post wasn't intended to imply anything negative about the store or staff. It was just a reminder for people to get an estimate and double check the maximum reimbursable amount from your insurance before committing to a purchase. Insurance coverage can be confusing and reimbursable amounts can be based on very old reasonable and customary fees" and be much less than what a product and service realistically costs."

My Daughter and I have been suffering with foot issues for years and finally sought some help. We recently had our assessment done and picked up our orthodics today. Overall, the experience was great!Each step was explained and once our issues were diagnosed, the Doctor clearly explained everything about the mechanics of the foot and why we were experiencing what we have been experiencing. He then explained options and costs with no pressure whatsoever on what option we should choose. Couldn't have asked for more - hence the 5 star review.

I saw Alex late last year for a bad ingrown toenail which needed to be resected asap. The clinic was able to fit me in within the week for consult and treatment. Clean office, professional and pleasant staff. The procedure went smoothly, Alex was fantastic at keeping me distracted in conversation while he worked away. The procedure was successful and the healing went perfectly. Awesome experience with Alex and this clinic. I will recommend it to anyone who requires foot care in the future. I saw Chiropodist Alex Whyte for ingrown toenail care which ended up needing surgery. Alex is very friendly and personable. The process of applying for insurance coverage is streamlined and easy with the help of his office manager. I had a very positive experience with Dr. Whyte. After having a stubborn cluster of plantar warts on my foot for years he was able to help me quickly and effectively. I had tried home salicylic acid treatments, duct tape etc. but none had worked. He listened to my concerns and suggested that we start with the least intrusive method first which was a topical treatment. I was not seeing enough success with that so he then suggested we try the next step up which was needling. This worked perfectly, and gave me releif even faster than the time frame he had laid out. The after pain was minimal and within two months my foot was completely clear of warts. I’d recommend Dr. Whyte and his clinic to everyone!
