Uptown School of Music
I know Jason White for many years. He's a great music teacher with a lot of creativity and open mind. I cannot imagine he cannot find a path to someone (no age limit) who wants to learn any type of music from classic to pop or rock. He's a great contact if you want to play jazz.

We highly recommend Jason White as a piano teacher. Several years ago our son showed interest in learning piano and Jason was highly recommended. Jason embraces and cultivates our son’s creative approach to learning, and has developed into a friend and mentor. Our son looks forward to his weekly piano lessons, and showing off to Jason what he has learned.

I have been taking lessons with Jason for many years. He is very personable and cares immensely about all of his students. He gives me motivation to continue practicing and makes every lesson enjoyable. He is an amazing and very gifted teacher. Would recommend!!!

My 12 yr old son has been taking lessons with Jason White since September - so 9 months of lessons delivered via the computer. Results are remarkable. Jason connects beautifully with kids, respecting them, listening to them, gently breaking things down in a way that they can understand. We are very happy to have found this school!!!!

My daughter has been taking voice lessons from Amanda Wilhelm at the Uptown School of Music for many years. It has been wonderful to see my daughter's progress, her appreciation of music and her love of singing continue to grow into her teens. She looks forward to every lesson - whether in person or on Zoom. Even though she has to work hard, Amanda makes it fun and light. Both my daughter and I would highly recommend Amanda!

Nice location, easy to find and very close to the music hubs uptown. I took lessons from Jason White specifically but all the teachers here seems great and knowledgable. They care for the students beyond the 1-on-1 lessons, which I don't necessarily get from the previous music schools I've taken lessons from/worked at. I can tell that there's a building community.

Our daughter has been taking vocal and piano lessons at this school for over two years. Teachers are excellent and the transition from in person to online has been seamless. Highly recommend!
