Holly Hughes Dance Academy

Both my daughters attend Holly Hughes Dance Academy and love it. My eldest daughter is on the competitive team and takes ballet, tap and jazz. She's also attended the dance camps held in the summer and loved them. I love the positive and inclusive environment that Holly and her instructors create for the girls. My daughter attends several classes a week and compared to other after-school activities these classes are very affordable. I've attended 5 years of Holly's dance recitals and they are amazing. The songs, outfits and dances are amazing and so professionally put together. I highly recommend Holly and her team for your family.

As a teacher and fellow dancer, this studio is the most welcoming and comfortable space. I’ve been dancing at HHDA since I was 3 (now 22) and my mom danced here since the 3rd anniversary (now entering the 40th anniversary). I’ve met lifelong friends here, and the staff are always kind and thoughtful. Holly takes genuine interest and care in every one of her students, and I can easily say HHDA is the embodiment of the term “family”. Register without a second thought!!

Fabulous Studio! I danced here for about 30 years and now my 2 daughters dance here. It’s such a family oriented, inclusive environment. I have many long term friendships that has stemmed from the studio. My daughters LOVE it here! The recital is always professional and fun to watch!

I can not say enough about this dance studio. With so many places serving Guelph, this Studio makes you feel like family. It’s a warm welcoming environment for any young or old dancer. My son George found his Rhythm and confidence amongst the walls of Holly Hugh’s studio. Smiling staff and encouraging friendships, George got to be “George.”Hip hop, Tape and Jazz we spent many Saturday’s at the studio with our dance families. I too got to experience adult friendships when I joined the Adult tap class. Never dancing as a young child but always loving tap, I joined a group of women from all levels. It may not be the biggest studio, newest looking studio but it is a respected studio with many years of experience and loving hearts that greet you every time you walk through the door. Never judge a book by its cover! Because Inside you’ll find the story to be unforgettable.

Great studio! My girls wanted to try dance after seeing the recital last year. They started with a week of camp in July (which was a great intro, and very reasonably priced). They loved camp so we registered for Jazz for the year with Miss Victoria. They loved it and the recital was A-mazing. So well organized, and a spectacular show! So many talented dancers.

Amazing dance studio. Holly along with the other teachers have created such a welcoming and safe atmosphere as well as fun and inclusive. My two daughters attend several classes a week and absolutely love it. The year end recital is an amazing show with fabulous costumes and amazing song choices. Can not say enough good things about the studio. Proud to be apart of the HHDA family!

Both my daughters have danced at Holly Hughes since they were 3 years old (they are now 16 and 11). I can’t say enough positive things about our experiences here. The teachers are wonderful and Holly treats her students like they are her own. I would never think of going anywhere else!!
