Rouge Camps (Richmond Hill)

I am very happy with Rouge Camp. My daughter says it's the best camp in the world. I agree. She is in grade 1 and her head counselor is a Grade 1 teacher and she has 2 other counselors as well. The camp is well organized and fun!

My son & his friend enjoyed this camp so much last summer when they attended for a couple of weeks that they asked to go back for the entire summer this year. The staff is composed mainly of young men & women who are already in teacher's college or headed there, so they have a genuine affection for kids & understand their needs better than staff at other day camps. The staff to camper ratio is low so they really get to know the kids. Overall I was very happy with this camp for my son, he will be returning next year!

I want to leave a review for the Maple Rouge Camp (Roberta Bondar PS) because I’ve been so far really impressed by all the counsellors working there, most of them so young too. They’re all very kind, professional and caring. Since day two they all knew my daughters by name, despite having so many kids to look after. I never have to ask to talk to someone, because I soon as I get there someone immediately approaches asking how they can help. My two daughters (4 and 9 yo) love going to the camp and have been having lot of fun every day. Great job, definitely recommended!

The last two weeks in camp have been a really great experience for my 4-year-old daughter. Minnie and the other counsellors are always super-patient, understanding and encouraging - and all-round super-nice in every way ... and for the first time being away from home my daughter has been allowed to mature and have a great summer. Thanks so so much from me, my wife and my daughter and we're looking forward to another week as well as coming back next year.

My 6.5 year old son was in Rouge Camp - Maple location this year as closer to home (and last year at the Richmond Hill location). Of the different summer camps we tried so far, he says he likes this one best. He has fun, it's a big group so get to play with others, and they love water day etc. My child is active but not super sporty/athletic, so he likes the sports level and other activities offered. As a parent I just want him to be active and stay off the screen and socialize! I like that there is indoor/outdoor option when it's too hot or raining, and that they do a variety of sports and non-sports, and that it's close to home. Adam and Rouge Camps was very generous this year and gave 2 Ukrainian boys (I am hosting that just arrived in Canada) a chance to attend sports camp, they really appreciated it and loved it!

The absolute best camp out there! My son has never enjoyed a camp quite like this one. The activities are exciting and staff members are well organized and pleasant to deal with. At the end of each day I receive an email with a recap of their day and pictures which is so enjoyable for a parent. Their Instagram account is updated often so you get to see your kids in action. Next year both kids will attend!!! Kudos to everyone at Rouge Hill Sports Camp...... job well done!

Amazing summer camp with great coaches and staffs! It is our first time signing up for Rouge Camps and my daughter had lots of fun especially coaches Duke, Ariel and Daisy kept the spirits high with fun energy levels for the kids! That’s a plus for the campers and I am sure Rouge Camp will acknowledge their great leadership skills and talent with endorsements for what they do! We look forward to participating more weeks in the next summer! Can’t wait!!!

One of the best summer camps my son ever been to. Amazing and super friendly staff, yet very professional. Definitely recommend this place. So sad it's over and so looking forward to next summer:)Thank you Rouge Hill staff for making this summer an amazing and memorable one for my son.

My 10 and 5 years old daughters really enjoyed their time at Rouge camp. The camp is very well organized and I feel safe sending the kids there . Highly recommended to everyone looking for outdoor summer camp .
