Never been to this store but I have a special connection with Newfoundland. 16 yrs back when I moved to Canada as a student, I started my Canadian life at St.John's, NL. The best people on earth I met there. Great to see a Newfoundland store in Brampton where I live now. I always miss my Newfoundland days till today.

Amazing place to get Mt. Scio savoury!!! Can't make a proper turkey or chicken stuffing without the herb!!Great prices on Cod loins and many other bits of sea food from out east. Wonderful staff. A MUST go!!

Been with my Newfie wife a couple of times, but a few days ago was the first visit with the new ownership.Still like I remember it! A limited selection, as always (small place), but they have the classics and must-haves, and the woman behind the counter was sweet, kind, and friendly, and super helpful.ESPECIALLY since the Newfoundland Store in Toronto shut down and they've cleared out most of their stock on line, this may be the only game in town.So come get your bread bags, Lime Crush, Jam-jams, salt cod, and canned meatballs in gravy!

Canadian East in city of grouchy brampton, this store is just like being in NF with great music and plenty of items to explore from food to music to books, I love visiting and exploring this place, friendly staff!

Attempted to purchase this business after they advertised it was closing unless sold. Paid sizeable deposit on Feb 2 to purchase, on a “first come with deposit, first served” basis. Was asked to have remaining finance matters wrapped up by March 15, so they could hand over for end of March - received an email on Saturday March 4 stating they sold to someone else. I was then required to retrieve our deposit from them rather than being granted the decency of them returning it to us.Shady, and Unethical all around.Not a very good representation of the East Coast.Disgraced to know they are related, and that, at one point I was proud of that.
