Stayed for a night to visit a friend and am glad it was only for one night! Owner is extremely cantankerous and unfriendly towards young people. The entire hostel is covered in spiders and dust, and I was told the womens' washroom is neglected while the mens' remains fully stocked and taken care of. I understand that it is a cheap alternative to a hotel but that lower price shouldn't mean I have to sacrifice being treated with basic respect. Stay in Liverpool.

30 dollars a night/ person in summer season. What are you expecting? Clean room. Free parking, Wifi, shower, kitchen…Staff Heather is very helpful! Easy access to beautiful beach and some other sightseeing place. I say it’s a great deal!

Love this spot. Always treasures to be found, fair prices, great staff. Worth the stop. I get a lot of xmas shopping done in the local craft section.

Very nice place to stay. Room is quiet and bed is comfortable. nice kitchen for meal prep. Friendly staff.

It's fairly institutional looking (it's in a converted school) but pretty good value for the price ($30 a night). Free showers, fast wifi, full kitchen, common areas etc. 4 Beds per room. Very very quiet when I was there (late june), so you didn't really get the busy youth hostel feel but fine for the night. May get busier later in the season. One thing that could be improved is having warmer blankets.

Staff expect other residents to check us in after hours, so unprofessional. Common spaces are not well-maintained, bugs present, and the staff are generally rude and unreasonable when responding to requests. Have had much better hostel experiences for even cheaper! Unless you have no other choice, would not recommend!

Just a fabulous display of local artwork and handcrafts. Supports many local charities. A vintage collector or garage sale enthusiast's dream! Spent a fun hour here but I would have liked to stay overnight!
