I don't often write negative reviews for companies, but I thought I'd actually do it this time to relay what we experienced with what we were told was one of Brantford and area's better contractors.Paulsan Construction viewed our project details back in July 2019, then we oddly heard nothing from them until October, even after repeated phone calls and email messages wondering if they were still interested. In October they finally contacted us and came out to measure the property. Then they fell off the face of the earth again until December when a surprise drawing for our build appeared in my email one day, which was severely out-of-date by then. Between July and October several other contractors in town had already met with us several times, measured up, provided plans and bid on the work needed months before, providing some interesting ideas and options.Stupidly, we updated Paulsan right after the Christmas holidays with these changes that other builders had offered up in the timeframe to give them a chance to also bid.Today they told us they didn't have any time to help us, but they hoped to work with us on other projects in the future.So yeah, not a great experience at all, and lots of wasted time on both sides. The best of luck with these guys, fellow homeowners. You're going to need it. I'm just happy we didn't break ground. God only knows how long we'd be waiting for the actual build to complete.

Great professional team for any project

As engineers, we have been working with the team at Paulsan Construction since 2015. Projects have ranged in size from small residential renovations to design/build commercial developments. In all cases Paulsan has been professional and great to deal with. Construction quality has been excellent. Would definitely recommend!
