Excellent facility and a wonderful community amenity. The gym is spacious and open and there are all kinds of rooms for functions and events. Decent pool and a clean steam room.I wish these facilities provided free lockers. Having to get a token is cumbersome and expensive. Lots of people leave things in lockers which invites thieves to help themselves. I'd rather pay a few dollars more a month and be able to lock up my bag without tokens or change - I sometimes stand in the shower and wonder if I'll have to walk home in my bathing suit.

Been going to the gym religiously and in my opinion it’s rather small. During peak hours it’s usually impossible to find a machine to work out with. (Lots of people crowded around areas) I try and go during the lunch hour and that seems to be the better time for myself. Later on in the day the more people are around I find. People don’t always clean down equipment like your supposed to but overall it’s not a bad place and I’ll continue to come here unless I find a new gym that’s relatively close to me as this location is very convenient for myself. Parking is fine could be worse but could be better but it depends on what time you’re coming to the recreation centre.

The pool is pretty clean but nothing special. Came on a toonie Tuesday and the place was packed. There’s a weird water walking spot where humans walk in circles together. It is not a “lazy river” like a fun aquatic Center would have. The showers are cold in the change room and all of the pools are the same temperature.

Solid gym with a good variety of both weights and cardio equipment. Sauna was decently hot and the showers had both hot and cold options(not all rec centers do). Sweet little cafe attached as well to get a protein shake after a session. Only reason 4 stars and not 5 was because a maintenance guy was running an angle grinder in a gym full of people, producing noise, sparks and a terrible odor.

Great modern facility. The swimming pool has massive windows that let in a lot of the daylight and it's beautiful to have such a nice view of the sky when you're in the pool. Basketball courts, fitness centre, squash courts, other meeting rooms and Blenz coffee shop. Lots of recreational programs are held there.

This is a nice place overall, however huge minus is cleanliness. And I’m not even talking about the pools, the changing rooms are almost always full of garbage that people leave behind. And very often there’s no soap in the showers. I understand that it’s a community centre and no one there is paid enough to care too much but the overall feeling this place gives me is that it’s not clean which does make me think about how sanitary the pools themselves are. There’s no control over how many people are in the pool and sometimes you can end up on a lane with like 5 other people, which is insane (the lanes are not wide enough for this). The hot tub is warm, not hot. The staff mostly is really nice, however a encountered a few individuals who were beyond rude without any reason.

Big, bright, new and great facilities. People complain about it being busy at peak times - sure it gets busy, but what do you expect from a place that provides great value at affordable price? It has so much to offer for different needs. Nice staff and well managed. Great swim instructors. Great value overall.
