Olive Grove Childcare Lynn Valley

Both my kids attended Olive Grove in Lynn Valley, and we were part of that community for over 5+ years. I don't have enough good things to say about Olive Grove, and particularly the staff and management at the Lynn valley location. My kids loved it there. I knew they were safe and they felt so loved. Olive Grove not only helped my kids build their social, physical and emotional skills, but both my kids exited the pre-school program overqualified to start Kindergarten :). They took our kids to swimming lessons, spent majority of the time outside, and were the most professional and caring group of teachers/caretakers. I couldn't have asked for a better place to help 'raise' my kids in their pre-school years.

If i could give 100 stars i would.. we moved to north van in 2020.. and both my girls attended OG Lynn valley, all the teachers responded well to our big transition which really helped my girls settle in fast. the girls often would come home with grand stories of their forest adventures and new games they learned. The staff had great communication with us and i had no mom guilt leaving my girls while i went to work knowing they were in good hands. We miss you OG!

Olive Grove has cared for all three of our children for the past eight years. The loving, supportive environment was so incredibly important to us and our boys thrived there. Lots of outside adventures, free time for them to experiment and learn and lots of fun experiences. I cannot recommend this day care enough.

Olive Grove took my two kids into the toddler and preschool rooms at a crazy time in our lives when our daycare had been abruptly closed down. My kids were so welcomed by both staff and children, we are so grateful.The quality of programming at Olive Grove was amazing. My kids looked forward to activities like Baking Day and (pre-COVID) singing with the choir with the residents of Lynn Valley Centre. My son called this Music time with the Grandmas and Grandpas".I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. They will treat your little one(s) like their own."

Our family had the pleasure of attending Olive Grove from the time our daughter was a year old until she went to kindergarten. Olive Grove was such a blessing for our entire family. Our daughter loved attending and thrived in the caring environment they provided and was well-prepared when she started kindergarten. Olive Grove gave my husband and I, the peace of mind knowing that she was safe, happy and in amazing care while we were at work. We are eternally grateful for our experience and time at Olive Grove.

Both my kids attended Olive Grove from the age of one until they entered kindergarten. The teachers were experienced, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Both kids made lifelong friends. We loved all the extras… the yoga, the Japanese class, the musical concerts, the theme days, the parties, and the graduation parties! Great facility and as a teacher myself, I highly recommend Olive Grove for your children and their care.

We are so happy that we got a place in Olive Grove for our son. Since starting at Olive Grove he has come out of his shell, had so many cool experiences, and has developed new friendships. The staff here are amazing and take great care with each child. It is a warm, safe and inviting place and with their heart-centerd approach the staff is able help the children learn and grow mentally, physically and emotionally. We absolutely love Olive Grove!

My experience with Olive Grove Lynn Valley was excellent. I was lucky enough to work with all the amazing staff there for about 3.5 years before going on Maternity leave and then moving back to NL. The owner and management are very caring towards their staff & the Children. As a staff member, I always made myself approachable to the families, parents and children. The center always seemed like more of a home/family environment than a workplace for me. I miss the center and families terribly, but could not recommend the center more.

Both of my children were lucky enough to attend Olive Grove Lynn Valley, from the baby room through to the preschool room. I cannot say enough good things about the space, the programming but especially the teachers! The teachers always go above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for kids. They support emerging social skills and learning skills that I credit with our son's smooth transition to kindergarten. Teachers are communicative and approachable, so I always felt well informed about my child's day and/or progress in areas of development. I visited many childcare facilities before settling on Olive Grove and I am so happy I did.

We loved having both our boys at Olive Grove! The daycare and preschool programs are amazing and I can’t speak highly enough of the amazing staff who work there. They are genuine, caring and invested in your child’s play skills, social skills and learning. Both my boys loved it and every time we drive by, they remember their teachers and the friends they made there. Highly recommend them!!
