Lucy is an extremely knowledgeable vocal technician with the ability to adapt her teaching to every level and to address any issue or obstacle. Her kindness, patience and generosity make her an excellent teacher for all ages. She is also very knowledgeable about styles, languages and diction. I can always trust her ear and her feedback.

Lucy’s knowledge and understanding are exemplary. She is enthusiastic and creates lessons that help me grow vocally, as a mature student, without being overwhelmed.

My 11-year-old daughter has been working with Lucy for a few years now and it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience. Lucy is warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, highly-skilled, and flexible in her approach depending on the needs of the student. My daughter’s voice, as well as her self-confidence, have improved tremendously with Lucy’s coaching. She has a gift for harnessing the abilities of her students.

Davis Vocal Studios is an amazing space to grow your vocal abilities! With one-on-one vocal exercises, patient practice, and personalized advice, I was able to come to a more comprehensive understanding of my voice in its individuality, quickly expanded my vocal range, and grew more confident in my vocal abilities. A safe home studio environment with an atmosphere of respect, growth, and self-confidence, Jason and Lucy are both genuinely wonderful people with positive, caring attitudes who will help you come to a more confident and comprehensive understanding of your voice and yourself!

I took a full semester (September 2022 -January 2023) of singing lessons with Jason and could not recommend him more highly. I always felt very welcome and not judged, which was very important to me, as someone insecure in my singing ability and as someone whose voice has changed due to hormone replacement therapy. Jason does lessons in-person and online which is convenient, he is very patient and knowledgeable, and is overall a great teacher and person. Their home and studio are very clean and welcoming. My singing and music reading abilities have both expanded greatly through my lessons with Jason and I finished my semester with the confidence I need to continue my musical endeavours.
