This company will disconnect your service if you don't pay your bill within 45 days... repeatedly. Our internet bill was only $60/month, as busy career folks we would pay it once it reached about $200. Eastlink began routinely turning our internet off in the middle of a workday for a balance of $120, and we would need to call in to pay and have it reinstated. On top of this frustration, they would frequently go down" and raised our bill without any communication. Additionally they charged us a $50 cancellation fee claiming that we were in the middle of a 2-year term despite having been with the company over five years.Good riddance."

I ordered internet for a house I'm moving to. I figured I'd be proactive and get my account set up in advance. Well Eastlink started my billing period over a week in advance of the move and is unable to adjust the bill for me".It isn't a huge amount of money but for a large corporation to be unable to help out a new customer in any way makes me regret committing to a contract with them. You can do better Eastlink.Update: I'm renting an eero wifi mesh device from them as well. Out of the box the power cord for for device didn't work. I was able to get it working using my laptop power cord. I explained this to tech support yet they still needed to send a tech to assist me. The tech support also seemed to know as much about the device as I did and repeatedly asked me about which lights I was getting on my device...despite having been told that I was getting none with the factory cord and had already proved it defective by swapping to my own cord. I had to chose between charging my laptop or having internet for over a week and a half.When the tech arrived he gave me a cord and got me online in 2 minutes. So I guess the upside is that at least their techs that come to your home are good to deal with.The internet is also quick and stable...now that I'm online."

Good company that is buying up all of the small little cable provided companies their customer service is wonderful their products seem to work well and they have good fast internet and a lot of rural areas

Eastlink. Not my first choice. It's more like an only choice. Not many cable companies are available in my rural location, so it's a hands tied choice.Unlike their commercials in which they state that they are here to help and listen to their customer - I have yet to experience this phenomenon.We haven't even been able to get past the install" phase. Unfortunately they only install in our area on Monday

Vary disappointing customer service. Over a 2 week waiting period to get a technician to come out, not given the option to have new equipment mailed out. Unfortunately I’m thinking of switching. With what we pay we don’t deserve this treatment
