I brought my Beam powerhead into Amati today as it was not functioning properly. Harry was able to quickly diagnosed the issue and suggested a tune-up to fix the issue. It was a cost effective recommendation vs. replacing the powerhead. Great experience dealing with Harry as there was no pressure trying to upsell me something that was not required. Great experience and highly recommended.

Rude. Will auto blaim you if you bring a vac for warranty repairs. Do not let hoover send you here.

I have known the people at Amati for many years. They have always helped my family out with any servicing that we need. They are professional and ensure the best quality.This past year, my friend and I had Amati Home Systems install professional cameras at our shop, and we could not be happier. They took care of the install and setup with attentiveness and professionalism, and any technical servicing that we ever needed was addressed and resolved right away.Thank you for everything, Amati!

Not a great customer experience and seems like they don't stand behind their products or care about customers that spend over $1000 on a new system.Details:I came in and indicated that I wanted to change my central vac and power head and was very clear that noise was an important factor. I was sold a quiet central vac unit (demonstrated in the store), but was not told that some of their power heads are louder than others (fine) or given a demo of the power heads. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. I was also not told that once I try the unit at home it could not be returned. The policy was printed in fine print in the back of the room where customers are not allowed - and it mentioned 48 hours. OK.The central vac unit was installed on Friday. We immediately tried the unit and found that the sound on the unit included a high pitch whine especially when the unit was not flush on the ground, making the performance of my brand new system louder than my 30 year old old system. I called the office Sunday (they were closed on Sunday and Monday (labour day) leaving a message - i.e. within the 48 hours with a detailed message including the fact that I was not able to come in until later in the week. No call back.When I brought the unit later in the week and demonstrated the high pitch, I was told it was 'normal' and that no one complains. I asked to be shown other models (other units did not exhibit the irritating high pitch) and was told that to exchange the unit I'd have to pay more because my unit was now 'used' even though I immediately called within the 48 hour period - and they were closed during the 48 hour window.So I paid more, exchanged the unit, but was not pleased with how my concerns were dismissed (even though it was clearly more high pitched and whiny even in the store) and that they did not care that they did not have a happy customer. They really should have allowed the straight return given when I had contacted them and the fact that their store was closed within the 48 hour period. They claim to be better than the big box stores, but why bother when I couldn't return a unit I wasn't happy with after trying it for less that a day?

After reading online reviews of several service companies for central vacuums. We came across Amati a Home Systems they are an authorized sales and service depot for all the major brands with a storefront not too far from us.We decided to go to the showroom and we were happy we did. Great selection, sales person Harry was very knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy at all. Selected a machine and had installation completed within our hectic schedule. Thanks again we would not hesitate to recommend this company to our friends and neighbors.

These guys truly care about customer service. Arian was such a pleasure to work with. I was setting up a russound audio system in my house and he walked me through everything to set it up and even was able to order parts i was missing to complete my system. Highly recommend this place

Reliable, reasonable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with - Arian and the entire team at Amati Home Systems provide excellent service and value. They're the only store I visit for my central vac needs. They came for a home maintenance call and were on time, polite and did everything we needed. Highly recommended!!

So impressed with the service I received from Amati Home Services. Arian replaced our 30 year old central vacuum system within one day - not only was he professional but extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When I decided not to repair the 30 year old vacuum he was not at all pushing the sale of an expensive replacement option from his company. A pleasure to do business with and I would highly recommend their services and products to anyone looking to buy a vacuum.

Brought my vacuum in for a repair estimate and would not give me a written estimate even though the unit was covered under Hoover's warranty. They wanted to charge me $48 for a written repair estimate.In reply to the response from the owner below...the recording that I have of the call with Mike seems to suggest the contrary to your response.
