Masala Mantra Restaurant (New ownership)
We ate here recently. The food was very good. The waitress, Yogita, was the only one working. She literally was running to satisfy the customers - those dining in and also 'skip the dishes' drivers. We had to wait a long time to order and then a long time to pay at the end. Again, the food was very good, but they obviously need more than one server. It is unacceptable to have to wait so long to get service. It makes me question whether we should go back. We felt bad for the waitress which detracted from our experience.

Went for their lunch buffet and was incredibly disappointed. Selection and freshness of food paled in comparison to Sizzling Tandoor and Royal Spice. The restaurant itself is tired and not cleanly. The server that served us filled our water glasses and I could visibly see stuff floating in my water glass. She gave me a new glass of water, which wasn’t any better, and attempted to give my first glass to another couple who also pointed out the glass seemed dirty and the water had stuff floating in it.

This was my order everything burnt and the curry was inedible! I was delivered burnt naan breads in an order before as well but I didn’t complain. The quality has gone down and the customer service terrible as well. The person who received my call after I got burnt items here at mantra was super rude. You’re definitely not getting any business from my family again. Keep it up and soon we will see a sign saying out of business!

The food is so flavourful and freshly prepared. Portion sizes were great. The service was friendly and attentive. We went at 5pm on a Thursday and the restaurant was nice and quiet, perfect for holding a deep conversation over a delicious meal.

Dined there for their buffet Sat 25 Mar 2023. A large variety of dishes to choose from. They do not shy away from spicy foods which is a real bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food and tax for the two of us was about $36. Fabulous deal.

Came in for the lunch buffet today,advertised on a sign outside for 13.99After dining the server told me the buffet is now 17.99 and refused to honour the advertised price,OR apologize for false advertising.Maybe go update the price on your sign and you won't lose any more customers?There's a ton of other Indian buffets that actually charge the advertised price, they'll be getting my business instead from now on

Really gone downhill. New buffet items placed on old ones, seemingly recycled day or two old salad items. Had to ask for Naan rather than it being offered. Reminds me of Sabri before they went under, at the same location. Nice people though.

Best Indian food in the area ! And there's lots around here. The food is always fresh and the flavors powerful. I walk twice as far to here vs the one closer to my home
