I have visited this shelter for men several times. The staff seem very professional and helpful. The food is average and the portions will fill you up. Although this shelter's clients are among the city's worse addicts and persons with mental health issues they do their best to address each clients individuals needs.

Some of the the staff are disgustingly rude. No respect when you call. This shelter is filthy, in dear Ned of repairs and reno. I would rather live on the street than stay there

This is a place next to hell. Not a good shelter, In fact it's not supposed to be called a shelter. Very dirty, unhealthy, 95% of mean staff and lots of drug addicts and noise. Just name it. It's almost like hell for me staying there homeless for a week.

Make sure you are signed in for bed check. And ask with style a couple of times for a cigarette. To complete your daily success. Even if it's only for 3 seconds. The food is always hot... if you don't really smoke cigarettes. But wanna play with a pack. It's the number 1 way to pick UP.

Very bad care and attention in services delivered. Staff are indifferent. Food provision is beyond lacking at any institutional level, especially breakfast which generally consists of 2 pieces of toast and a slice of sandwich meat or a side serving of cream cheese, peanut butter in small single packages.

Stayed here four weeks as a prerequisite for my initial stay in Canada. This shelter is specifically meant for people living with mental illness or those battling drugs, so the people I shared space with were the lowest of humankind. That said, the staff did their best to ensure a clean and safe environment. Had my review been about only the staff, it would’ve been an easy five star.

If you gotta stay in a shelter and you're a dude, this one ain't the worst. Needs an overhaul, as every shelter in this city does, but that's our government's lack of interest in addressing homelessness proactively - not the folks who run the space. I'd never want to feel stuck here, but especially if it's winter, it's bearable.

I came here for a rather unique purpose but I would like to point out how vigilant and organized the staff is. I have a new found respect for the type of public service this place and it's people provide for the community of Toronto. I've seen the other reviews but I think that they are a bit harsh given all the factors to take into account when talking about a place such as the Seton House. I would also like to give my utmost respect to the staff who day in and day out keep their composure together where I would not be able to. Thank You for what you do for the community.

My name is Christopher I stayed there lost of times it’s how you make it. I’m from Toronto born and raised and if you need help they will help you the minute they see you using drugs or not helping yourself they will stop helping you I have gotten work there one time, I was passing through to go to Winnipeg one time. I also asked for help one time for a place to live now don’t get me wrong but the place I got wasn’t the best but I lived there for a yr Seaton house is a good place to stay only if you want there help. Thanks Christopher Mann
