Hardwood floors came out much better than I could have imagined. I thought for sure that I would have to get all new floors, but Paul was able to repair them. I get compliments all the time and people are amazed when they walk into my home! Paul was flexible, on time, and very professional. He added custom trim that really ties the floors in with the rest of the house. Wish I had taken before and after pictures! Highly recommend!

Paul and his team refinished our hardwoods and far exceeded my expectations. He was patient and helpful when it came to picking out our stain color, and the end result and work they did is flawless. He was wonderful to work with, and his son was one of the nicest young gentleman I have had the pleasure to meet. If I could rate them higher than five stars I most certainly would. American Flooring Company is not merely a contractor, they are skilled craftsmen who take pride in their workmanship, and rightly so. They were professional, courteous, explained fully what they would be doing, and took the time to answer questions and address concerns. They promised a floor with a tabletop finish" and they delivered. I am exceptionally pleased with the work they did for me replacing an entire floor badly damaged by a hot water heating pipe that burst on the floor above. I would not hesitate to call on them again."

Paul and his team did such an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors. My wife and I had just purchased a home that had hardwood floors that desperately needed new life brought back into them. Paul was able to meet us the same day I called for an estimate. Him and his team were able to start working the next week which was perfect for us since we had just bought the house but had not yet moved in. He was able to complete the job in about 5 days (about 1000 sq ft of floor and 17 steps were done) and stuck to his estimated price. In the end the floors look brand new. All of the high traffic spots, scuffs, and stains where gone and they left the house clean. We would highly recommend Paul and his team as they are honest dedicated craftsman who really put pride into their work.

Paul and his crew did amazing work on the floor in my house. The area where floor was redone basically undetectable.Pictures doesn't do the justice!!!Highly recommended.

Paul and his son and brothe-n-law Sanded down, stained and varnished our hardwood floors. They needed repair and some planks were replaced. The hardwoods looked great so we asked him to install vinal in two rooms. They did so. Less than a week later I noticed a punched Crack in foyer vinal and trim molding in bedroom is not attached to wall in a few spots. I have called Paul for over 3 months and left messages and the vinal store he gets product even reached out to him with no response. It's confusing cause while he was here he couldn't thank us for our business enough. He may just not want to travel the distance to Geneva to take care of the issues. A huge part of one's business is the service part of it before during and AFTER. I would have liked to rate this higher stars but I can't. Work was done March 28, 2022 and I have yet to get a response.

Paul is all about customer service, value and quality and he and his crew did an excellent job making our floors look their best without having to replace them. I didn't think my floors were savable but Paul proved me wrong!

Paul and his crew did a great job restoring our floors back to their natural red oak in addition to placing new red oak flooring down on our second floor and replacing tile with hardwoods in our entryway. Our floors were stained very dark and we were told by other flooring companies it would be extremely difficult to lift the old stain, Paul worked his magic and you can’t tell they used to be so dark and uneven. He had great attention to detail throughout each room and was extremely easy to work with. Paul, his son, and team were efficient, priced well, and did excellent work throughout our home. Our whole project was completed in a little under 2 weeks and that included removing and replacing all of the upstairs flooring. We are so happy we went with American Flooring and would recommend them to anyone looking to restore or install hardwoods.

We bought our farm home 2 years ago, the floors were old, and not maintained at all. Considered replacing them, until we had Paul come in to give us a estimate. His estimate was a great price. Paul and his team amazed me with the quality of work. Not only did they do a great job, they exceeded my expectations! Paul and team were friendly, and respectful. They showed up on time and worked efficiently. They explain the refinishing in great detail, on what to expect and how to keep them looking beautiful. I would highly recommend them!
