AmeriSpec Inspection Services of Durham Region

This is one of the WORST companies I have ever dealt with. We used them for our greener homes initiative and after coming to do the assessment ( 12 weeks ago) they will not complete the reports. We have called over 100 times (102 to be exact) and it goes straight to voicemail or we get hung up on ( Blair white to be specific). We have asked for the reports to upload them ourselves - although this is part of their job- and was HUNG UP ON. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this company or Blair white to anyone looking to have their house inspected. Please be warned this is the worst service I have ever received.

Dan Silcox has inspected my previous 2 home purchases. He clearly explained whatever issues he found and how to go about repairing them. Dan also talked about on-going maintenance that would be needed to keep things in working order.I highly recommend Dan and Glenn to all my clients. They show up on time and are excellent communicators that take their time to clearly explain each item they check.

Blair was very professional in explaining the inspection process. I hired him because the house we purchased has a pool. So he was able to inspect the pool and explain all the mechanical components. It was part of his home inspection report. Plus he was able to do the inspection on Sunday.

Great thorough and punctual. I like seeing someone prepared and ready on time. Glenn easy going tells you what needs to be done what you can wait a little one but check often and when he says time frame report will be ready it is. Details and photos on report. Great over all experience. Recommend to anyone

I booked Amerispec for an energy audit and Blair came in and ran tests on my house. He was very helpful in pointing out trouble areas of my home and answered all my questions About my home and green energy program. Great service from him A++

I learned of Blair White who represents AmeriSpec Inspection Services in Durham and contacted him to help me.Blair is a very knowledgeable and experienced person who knows how to properly assess your situation, complete the required audit steps, and advise you on how to navigate the government system to receive the reimbursement you are seeking. He was also very responsive to all of my communications to him.In my case, I upgraded all of my windows to triple pane certified windows for the required insulation factor. When the final audit was completed and everything properly submitted, I waited for the cheque to arrive.The result was $3,600 back to me from the government.Thanks Blair!

We have used Dan and Glenn in 3 separate purchases. One was for our own house, one for an investment property and one for our daughter Jessica. I found Daniel and Glenn to be professional, knowledgeable and very willing to answer all of our questions. These guys are top notch and would recommend them to anyone needing a home inspection.
